Mogador, just like Kleber and russian gunboats, aren't destroyers. They are crappy cruisers pressed into DD slot matchmaking wise. Early on, I guess your best bet would be supporting destroyer proper when contesting caps, once caps are secured you can either proceed with open water gunboating or, you can team up with DD proper and focus on removing enemy destroyers. Obviously, if CV is present and its not completely braindead, your options to do anything are severely reduced.

With that logic, Amagi also should be added, as her hull was in construction and was destined to be converted into CV, until earth started moving And given Amagi would be only source of 16" guns for Axis, I'd give her a go in this game mode.

Reminder - WG already tried "historical" battles back in WoT, years ago. Lets say, this game mode was pulled from game just as fast as it was added. Given one side have radar, actually useful destroyers, 16" guns and Enterprise, while other does not, already might give good indication how that would work out

Poza tym jest to WG na rękę - krótsze, jednostronne bitwy oznaczają więcej flag sygnałowych zużytych oraz mniejsze zarobki expa, podczas gdy gracze którzy uzyskują 100% trafień w wodę czy ci co giną w 3 minucie spędzą więcej czasu (i pieniędzy) by wybadać to co chcą. Win/win dla firmy.

And then, "muh dpm" is of value when you have time to put it into action. Given ships usually blink in and out of concealment as well enter into cover, much heavier salvo usually is preferable

Issue with remasters like this isn't the game itself, but all the nostalgia is usually tied to times when you were playing the game back in the day. Using Diablo 2 as example, what one might yearn isn't actual gameplay of the old game, but times when the biggest worry being homework for school or parents yelling "go to sleep or I'll pull the plug". And looking at C&C Remastered, if you don't give option to improve gameplay, game quickly gets stale due to how inept AI enemies are. Something AoE2 DE did well - you have both original AI and improved one to choose from Still, D2 had and still have dark, creepy environment with little to no flashy fireworks, something Diablo 3 was lacking. And Diablo 2 remaster seems to enhance "scary" parts as well solve biggest of issues - shared stash, permanent characters. So yeah, Resurrected or Reforged, that is the question

Monetization like this launched WG from backwater company into worldwide corporation. What makes you think they will kill goose laying golden eggs? -
Both will go back to port whenever you're caught broadside due to massive citadel sticking out. Moskva can at least withstand AP shelling when angled due to 50mm plating, Yoshino can disengage with her surprisingly good concealment. For long range HE spamming and stealth torping, Zao can deliver similar experience to Yoshino, while Petro is almost universal upgrade over Moskva Ironically, better "large cruisers" than both are Georgia and even Thunderer - former outruns both cruisers, latter have concealment to match with Yoshino and better handling than both and both battleships outgun any form of cruiser due to 30mm overmatch... and atomic HE shells on Thunderer. Both can outlast Yoshino/Moskva due to access to tank build as well.

Instead "is worth keeping", ask yourself if you like her playstyle and/or you can make her work consistently

Given current state of the game, I guess Kongo as T9+ premium "cruiser" is tempting option for WG. Same with Renowns. At the same time, B-65 (Azuma/Yoshino) would make fine tier 5 battleships, while Khaba would be decent tier 5-6 cruiser. But alas, why sell your work for 10€ when you can charge 60€? -
I wouldn't mind if they would actually differentiate ammo properties and gave brief description when one hovers over them. That and uniform UK CL and RM cruisers when they are at it. AP - your usual AP shells HE - your usual HE shells superheavy AP - improved ricochet angles (USN CA) APC - increased shell damage (Ger ships) base fuse HE - increased HE pen (Ger ships, UK CA) incendiary HE - increased fire chance HE (IJN CA) SAP - improved ricochet angles, reduced fuse sensitivity and penetration (lets say, starts at 150% shell caliber and over distance drops to 50%) (UK CL and RM cruisers/BBs)

When game mechanics were developed with only two shells in mind (or technically one, "AP" shells simply have 0 fire chance and can ricochet while "HE" have fuse sensitivity of 0mm and 0s delay) and they work in yes-no fashion, amount of ammo related gimmicks one can come up with is limited

Literal gacha experience And unlike WoWs, Azur Lane is rather generous with currency needed for gacha and all collab ships that were added to AL, are permanent addition you can collect at your own pace. -

Bow on exists for a reason. And AP doesn't work against bow on cruisers unless yer a brit. Which means Alaska have to switch to HE, which means you can bring rear turrets to bear.

Or you can angle, because only CB that can overmatch anything that isn't British CL is Siegfried.

Thats how Wargaming operates, they sell you promising stuff only to "alter the deal" later... and you better pray they don't alter it any further.

Shokaku is/used to be impossible to fix because top planes used the same B7A model and you couldn't separate them. You could use stock DB/TB and then swap models as stopgap solution, though at expense of in game performance
