Favorite shipgirl (Kancolle,Azur lane, Arpeggio of blue steel,Haifuri)

Ahem. 250 pulls, got two Dusks, spare Surtr, another Mostima, even Nian but no screaming hungry doggo with pointy stick in sight. You know, the character I actually want But I have enough saved for 300 pulls to get her resume. Thankfully, no wallets nor stockpiled 300 originites were harmed in this banner Recommended level is just that, recommended, probably designed around mobile players with butter fingers. But at AR45 you should have access to final difficulty in artifact domain, so I suppose you could start enjoying "endgame", that being farming artifacts Thankfully, you can delay at infinitum World Level increase quest until you find yourself ready. I was sitting at AR50 for half a year, when I did the quest out of boredom I've jumped straight into AR56was it worth? No. 5 star/gold rarity artifacts are obviously preferred, but I wouldn't dismiss purple ones as long as main and substats are good - after all, gold artifacts are meaningfully better than purples only when upgraded past +16, process that also happens to be on expensive side - cost of getting artifact from +16 to +20 is the same as new artifact from +0 to +16 Same with leveling characters - last 10 levels, from 80 to 90, is as expensive as brand new char from 1 to 70. So, "maxing out" characters is basically waifu/husbando mode, as gains in stats no way in hell justify mora/exp book expense -

@El2aZeR -
Wargaming like any other company understands and speaks only one language, money. And given their "ripoff" prices for "western" customers always were like that, it means people are okay paying those, otherwise they would have backed down with gouging.
-
You're almost three years late with that, CV REEEwork was already sign to stop approving Lesta Studio actions with money.

Which in turn screws entire class of cruisers except select few vessels that are suitable for open water "just dodge" shenanigans.

When will "If deemed necessary, balance changes may be applied to___" tags be removed?
Panocek replied to XDMeloniXD's topic in General Discussion
It will NOT go away, as apparently even WG can learn thing or two, especially when they start running out of even paper designs, because they can't help but make their premium ships tad too balans, so spreadshiet demands their removal on overperforming/overpopular grounds. At the same time, WG had no qualms of butchering "unnerfable" premiums with "global change" card multiple times by now, so whether "If deemed necessary, balance changes may be applied to [Insert ship name]" exists or not, its irrelevant. WG will find a way to nerf your toy and sell you a new one later on. Błyskawica/Gremyashchy and stealth firing Belfast/Kutuzov and smoke firing penalty Atlanta and CV REEEwork Premium carriers moved up and down and sideways during "global balancing" of said CV REEEwork, repeatedly and violently premium CL and IFHE changes multiple premium "secondary focused" battleships + cruiser and Commander REEEwork all large cruisers and Commander REEEwork, Smolensk being hit four times by the same REEEwork (loss of BFT, AFT, Demo nerf, forced to take Range mod instead Reload) I've missed something? -
Still, that is one fat gift that makes opening wallet an reasonable option, assuming one can find use for whatever doubloons they will get extra.

is this a new trend when playing petro ?
Panocek replied to kapnobathrac's topic in General Discussion
You won't get chat banned if you don't write anything there -
Then you have issue of desync always being a thing, so "torpedo on the tip of the bow" could be closer to front ammo magazines than game shows.
-
Not only premium, but also weeb version as well, in shape of Iona I-402, of which captain is in game since very first Arpeggio collab and her placeholder model was in game for just as long
-
Sunken cost fallacy is also a thing, "I'm not going to just dump the game after investing 50-100€ on pixel boat". At the same time, randomness of Randoms kinda ensures ups and downs when playing - you can be dunked by CV unicum, but also your cluelessly launched torps suddenly scored multiple hits. Alternatively RNGesus guided multiple shells toward enemy citadel despite players best efforts to miss the target
-
which, depending on the context, might be a good or bad thing
-
Which might mean actually wacky and fun ideas instead tryharding all the time, where's the harm?
-
You mean for once you might bump into actually competent players?
-
And this is Wargaming you're talking about, you can't have REEEwork without shafting something or someone
-
Just let bring entire torpedo reserve and dump it at once 24TB torpedo run from Hakuryu at the same time, spread between planes probably would be so big this "buff" would be not only net nerf in terms of torpedoes on target, but also would slow down plane cycling considerably, also it would give opportunity to more... peculiar elements of the playerbase to lose entire TB wing at once due to random DFAA boosted flak wall.
-
You mean WG will bring out the buff stick to keep CV popularity in desired range?

Well, that concludes Inazuma for me I guess, at least for time being -

Inazuma enemies are spongier and hit harder in general, especially those bigger samurai dudes. Even Zhongli shield doesn't last long against those when they infuse themselves with elements, while squishier characters like Yanfei have tendency to get oneshot by them if they are caught with pants shield down in other news, horny Prinz acquired -

So, I suppose first 24h of Inazuma can be summed up as Though biggest disappointment is character I was looking forward the most - Yoimiya -
I think ship alone was 35k?

You're late to the party, as T10 was already sold for dubs

The return and economic nerf of Missouri.

Assets and booba in Azur Lane is, just like WG screwups, expected at this point so no, you haven't made any ground breaking discoveries here. But reasons why she made ripples, is her excellent in game performance, somewhat expected of an Ultra Rare. -
What is "autobounce" because you have only 4 shell states when it hits something: -overpen -penetration -non penetration -ricochet Ricochet occurs when overmatch condition is not met AND angle of impact is high enough. If you remove overmatch as a mechanic, then ALL shell will ricochet when angle of impact is high enough. And with the way WG set up armor calculation, if ricochet happens, all next calculations are immediately dismissed unless it somehow finds its way back to the ship, where all armor checks are repeated. If shell can't "bite into the armor", it will simply slide off it and fly somewhere else. You know, phenomenon also known as ricochet. Also your "shell tip did not bit into the armor mechanic" is needlessly complicating for purpose of what is in the end an arcade game. At the same time, you're assuming soft steel used for bow/stern plating offered any meaningful protection to begin with, so you're overcomplicating one thing to make sense with other oversimplified one. Removing ricochets, rolling with doubled LoS armor for calculations and removing normalization effectively would bring us back to square one in terms of gameplay besides few "freak accident" tier of exceptions, which I doubt add anything besides your own "I've made it" satisfaction so your name can roll somewhere in credits. Keep in mind, game mechanics need to serve a purpose in the gameplay. WG wanted to make arcade boat shooter and in terms of AP mechanics, I think they got it rather close. If Wargaming were to make ship game around single class of ships, I guess you can start coming up with more elaborate mechanics to highlight armor differences. But in game where you can have MASSIVE armor and penetration differences between classes, you usually want to strike some kind of balance not not completely screw everyone except big guys.
