Prolly confirmation bias regarding the DD numbers. I haven't got a sufficiently high-tier ship myself (T8), but I haven't felt this. I reckon it's mostly due to BBs wrecking the cruisers on the enemy team and very little CV presence leads to that if a BB is sunk, it mostly have to be by either a DD or BB. Since one cannot complain about BBs sinking BBs (lol), then you are left with BB VS DD. And as I have said earlier, buffing CAs or doing something about them so they don't get "easily" one-shot at high-tiers will probably balance out the DDs.

Not to be mean or anything, but if you made this for the competition (as in the last few days), why didn't you simply glue on the logo instead of photohopping it? EDIT: Since the logo wasn't given in the contest description, I downloaded the fan kit to get a high quality one. I've attached it to this post to spare you the effort of downloading a 3gb rar-file.

Err, no. The RU community has on average more whines regarding performance than the EU/NA one, relative to plaerbase. Some time ago WG invited some players to their office to test out their computers due to optimisation whining. The result was that the large majority got better performance through simple steps, such as disk defragmentation, driver update, etc. I think one of those players had a GPU driver which hadn't been updated for several years. Almost all got a performance increase. We NA/EU complain that the game should be optimised more, which is true, but we don't spout baseless accusations (much) that the game is not so due to incompetence. Constructive criticism is the key word here.

Easy to spot your post. Your layout makes it hard to miss. Regarding the content: We'll never get rid of bundles it seems, how can it be so hard to offer a bundle and the ship ingame? Its guaranteed to make more profits in any case, but they won't know for certain if they don't try (which they haven't).

Yup. I have the same average damage as OP, with more ships sunk on average, yet I can't get down from rank 13 (so in T6/t5s). I am not dissing OP, just showcasing a point. Every time we start winning, my team either split appart for no apparent reason and dies, or they suicides due to the "apparent immediate win".

IF you could buy a T10 ship with doubloons, would it be P2W? It's the same with flags, albeit I don't think they affect the game nearly as much to be bothered by it. EDIT: that was a rhetorical question, FYI.

My guess is CW reward ship

^It's allowed to decorate it with thread, etc. that is not made of paper, but the ship itself must mostly be made out of paper. Carton is a paper product though, so should be okay?

Nah, it's just the crew rolled over by laughing so much.

So whining about whining....is not whining?

Pretty much. Are there not any more clues as to what the devs are working on ATM? Because everything is moving slowly, even balance. I get that it takes time to get new models into the game, but there hasn't been that drastic changes of the balance at higher tiers after the game was "released".

Scrooge belongs to Christmas. If we have an luck, they'll follow through with the "new man routine" after the 25th. Oh boy, those offers we're going to receive then!

Won't buy, waiting for unified account to arrive. Would gladly use them in WoWs, but WoT has the advantage that you can actually use them on something. A premium day cost the equivalent of 8 of these skins, and then you'll get more credits as well. A far wiser choice given what the major bottleneck in this game are. EDIT: But nice to see that they add new items to the ingame store, even though it is to fleece players through ignorance.

Which was not the point at all, from my part at least. It's just that how the RU cluster run ships is alot like the marketing philosophy in that video.

^Nope, those graphs are based on the API from WG regarding people online at any given time. From that they calculate average players per week, month, etc. But how they calculate those averages is anybodies guess.

Even though it's sarcasm, don't encourage this behaviour nevertheless. Sarcasm isn't that easy to convey through text.

About WG EU community work, special events and pricing policy...
Vogel replied to Vaderan's topic in General Discussion
Those are either Danish or Norwegians, not Belgium. EDIT: The originals were Danish, but the same films (with some identical scenes) were remade in Norway with Norwegian actors. -
My main point was that they are selling non-bundles ships on the RU server, with pricing and overall strategy according to that video. And for some reason that server has had a stable player number, untill recently when it started to rise. Now, I'm not saying that there is a direct correlation, but it is food for thought nevertheless.

It's funny that this strategy was used on the Russian server (and not the rest of the servers) and that one is the only server where the player numbers appear to be stable. I'm not saying that it is a direct consequence of bundles and the like, but it is certainly not helping to sell bundles that give the impression of "grabbing most money before it fails". EDIT: According to vbAddict, the RU server has an increase in player numbers ATM (yes, I know, average players and all). Just to comment for those that don't watch the video: Wargaming EU/NA/SEA does the polar opposite in terms of marketing then what Victor Kislyi, CEO of WG, says that they strategy are. The ONLY server that followed this strategy was WG RU, and they are currently the only server with rising player numbers.

Today 7 December Japan launches a surprise attack on Pearl Harbour in 1941
Vogel replied to 22cm's topic in General Discussion
I'm pretty sure this is a troll topic to get people to flame each other for different opinions regarding Pearl Harbour. -
They are all bad deals, because doubloons are worthless ingame for all other purposes than demounting equipment, captain retraining, etc. So if you need to convert large amounts of XP, then go for doubloons. But it seems that we'll never be able to buy new premium ships in the ingame store.
