I just wish I could customise my squadrons for my CV (hard limits being applied ofc, you don't want a battle with some noob going out with 3-4 Torpedo Bombers and no DBs or Fighters.
-
IS this global or just your stats? Also I'd say the problem is not with CV's, I don't view them as OP, but because Cruiser Players don't cover slower Battleships with their AA, and the same is true vice versa, that Battleships don't stay with the Cruiser players within cover of their AA.
-
Whatever...... I still want my Stalingrad. I mean you can't have a naval game with a Russian tech tree without the pinnacle of Soviet Cruiser designs before the advent of ship board ASM, SSM and SAM launchers and that is exactly how I view the Stalingrad.
-
Carriers are OP, Battleships are OP, Cruisers are OP, Destroyers are OP

You aren't playing it right, I get at least 7/10 shots onto target with Battleships..... Then again that is with the New Mexico. -
But the Russian Navy was, by the start of WWII, in a pitiful state. I just hope they bring the Soviet cruiser line in with the Project 66 (tier 9) and Stalingrad (tier 10)-class

Colorado seems to be the only ship that isn't Overpowered. I swear, it's worse than a [edited]Churchill. -
Obviously sarcasm seems to go over your head.

23 knots is quite fast. *sniggers quietly*
-
Well the Minotaur ZA design will be the holy grail for HE Spammers.
-
Yeah, the BL16" Mark II which is pretty much on par with the 16"/50 Mark 6 iirc.
-
In anycase, the British cruiser line should be quite interesting, but tomorrow is the day I start my grind for the Currywurst (gotta thank Jingles for that nickname for the German Tier X)
-
Not sure what the actual shells of the Warspite are ingame. And it's not the BL15" guns I'm looking for since I got penetration parameters for that for the 3 different types of shell used. Assuming could work too. But at least I won't need to assume anything for the 16" guns.
-
I got the penetration for the 16" Mark 1 guns, just not the 18" Mark 1 or 2. So I'm not making it up exactly, just showing some caution.
-
I say lackluster, because I can't find a source that tells me the penetration parameters. Find me a reliable source and I'll edit it out.
-
Tier 4: HMS Hawkins Tier 5: HMS County Tier 6: HMS York Tier 7: HMS Hood Tier 8: G3 (Give it the BL16" Mark II since the Mark I is quite lackluster even at Tier 7) Tier 9: N3 Tier 10: K3 Note: Again I feel the T9 and 10 would be rather lackluster as I can't find pen info See, you can get a nice heavy cruiser like, but you'll end up going into the fast battleships at Tier 7.
-
Using the NMM they may find some obscure British battleship design that no one has ever heard of before mounting US made 16"/50 Mark 7's lol (don't worry, the thought scares me too)
-
I can describe 2 other possible premiums in one Picture. HMS Victorious and USS Saratoga.
-
Thanks for that.
-
I haven't actually seen a source (or if I have I can't remember it) but I have heard of it mentioned here on the forums.
-
True, I can see the balance issues there if they allowed us. Anyone got a source for the Worcester with the Triple gun mounts?
-
Hull option maybe? Would be nice to have TX ships where you can change the hulls round like Yamato with her original 4 Triple Secondaries.
-
90 RPM for increased reliability (probably what WG will go with) but that that, in 8 twin mount 3" guns? I feel sorry for any plane that decides to go near it.
-
Neptune: Mark 25 guns Minotaur: Mark 26 guns Not much difference except the mountings.
-
Atlanta can (more or less)
-
I'm assuming the Minotaur is using the same guns as the Tiger-class, which is 15-20 rounds per minute per gun with an average of 17, for 10 guns in 5 Dual-Mounted turrets. That's a combined rate of fire of 150 to 200 rounds per minute, bloody mental. http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNBR_6-50_mkN5.htm Not to mention these are Dual-Purpose so the AA Stats on this thing I going to better than a Montana-class with full AA build.
