Uhm... she still is. She is the oldest warship still in service.

Last thing I read on this forum is that H39 (with 8 x 40.6 cm/16 in guns) would be Tier 9 and H41 (8 x 42cm/17 in guns) would be Tier 10.

50.000 vs 70.000 tons... not THAT much... the depth would be the main problem though, since Costa Concordia even after sinking was basically still on the surface. Well she was a "merchant" ship of sorts, wasn't she? I mean she transported one ton steel commodities at great speed...

Well Musashi and Costa Concordia are about the same size... how many million did it cost to salvage her? 500? Considering that Musashi is a little bit deeper under water, how much will you increase gold prices to salvage her?

Whats your take on the Russians being added before the British in WOWS ?

Germany effectively only had the Graf Zeppelin (planned for 43 aircraft). All other plane carrying ships (aside from scouts) were seaplane tenders. There aren't even any (reasonable) plans for carriers T9/T10 (assuming Graf Zeppelin to be T8) since the navy was neglected by both Hitler and Göring. Post-WWII germany had no need for carriers since its main focus as part of NATO was to halt an incoming soviet ground advance with GB and the USA controlling the seas, so nothing there (would be too modern mostly anyways since the Bundeswehr and with it the Bundesmarine was only formed in 1955). -

In terms of popularity you will have different results for each and every country you're in I guess. Russia has some highly patriotic folks and regarding WGs origins - and they surely won't want to lose that. If you go by impact on naval warfare, that would turn out quite different... main problem I guess will be, that only the US Navy will have a full T10 tech tree in all four classes. Germany, Japan and GB all lack the CV department (Germany very much here) - also Germany in general is reduced to designs for T10 (and some T9) due to the progress of the war. Germany however was technologically and industrially advanced enough to actually build competetive ships (while lacking resources in the end). However Russian/Soviet Navy was basically non existant during WWII. Surely they did have some aged ships in service, but most of what was in construction was destroyed and they didn't make an effort to rebuild since the continental war both pressured Germany and Russia a lot. While the SU could afford not to maintain a sizeable navy, Germany did not have that luxury - although Hitler basically ensured that the Kriegsmarine wasn't competetive against the RN anyways, they did built ships that could rival the britsh in terms of armament, speed and firepower (although never enough of it). -
Well the guess is that they will fill the gaps with concepts and design studies like in WoT. tier 3-5 will most likely be "Nassau", "Kaiser"/"König" and "Bayern" class battleships. Then we'd have a gap at tier 6 that would needed to be filled and could continue with "Scharnhorst" at 7 (for example these could be upgunned with the 6x38 cm guns and pe perfectly valid at tier 7) and "Bismarck" at 8 with H39 and H41 being tier 9 and 10 battleships. So the battleship line would be quite easy to accomplish. Question is how would you classify the Moltke, Seydlitz and Derfflinger class WWI battlecruisers and the Deutschland-class Panzerschiffe. The first ones were rather compareable to battleships of their time (and even engaged in battleship fleet action like Jutland rather effectively considering the odds) while the later ones were rather concepts for heavy raider vessels that were strong enough to fend of enemy cruisers with their powerful primary artillery but not powerful enough to engage WWII battlecruisers or battleships. So while the british called them "pocket battleships" these were clearly cruisers - however armed with rather battlecruiser/battleship sized main guns - although only 6 of these.

Well after WWI Austria had a little less accessible seas an thus no need for any naval vessels... just as Poland only had access to the baltics and no need for a high seas fleet. Even German ambitions in that department only resulted from a hegemonial wishes and dreams to best their rivals of the Royal Navy. Germany as a country didn't really need a large surface fleet with that few colonies. Especially the high seas fleet waste of resources since there was no decisive fleet action since no one wanted to fight on the terms of the enemy.
