The matchmaker doesn't try to achieve mirror teams. It just tries to match the value of all ships combined of both fleets.

So the Battle of Denmark Strait defies logic? Because as far as I remember Prinz Eugen was a heavy cruiser sailing in battle line with a battleship and engaging battleships... Uhm did you actually check that for once? My Tirpitz has a maximum deviation of 254m at 21.2km distance, my Hipper has a maximum deviation of 144m at 17.8km distance. Calculating that up to 21.2km like the Tirpitz, the Hipper would have a deviation of 164m. Wow... it's still got 2/3rd of the deviation the Tirpitz has - while having no where near the same penetration power of a BB. Shell flight times of CLs at close to maximum range is like 15+ seconds. If you can't maneuver your BB in 15 seconds you're doing it wrong.

The secondaries had several higher accuracy values in Alpha and Beta tests... believe me that 10% is the only rate that was remotely fair for DDs/CAs. Otherwise BBs would be untouchable by anything else but BBs.

Yes, T8+ will get that module. And T8+ are mostly affected by the torp spotting range. See what they did there?

You actually got pretty lucky since secondaries have a 10% chance to hit anything at all. You had 17% hits.

In close to 1000 battles I blew up by detonation exactly 6 times. I still have all the flags I earned by that in stock. Having played all classes it all comes down to less than 1% chance of detonation overall. So anyone claiming that you MUST buy those flags is truely out of his mind.

You gain 0.7° second turning time... on the Hipper that is an increase of less than 10% compared to a warspite where it is actually 28%. You could alternatively use fire prevention since a lot of people shoot you with HE although they'd be better off with AP...

On the plus side though, you can citadel hit a Fuso or an Amagi with a 203 gun when she's full broadside.

Seen the movie, seen little of the Emden herself in it though... it's mainly about how they got back after the Emden was stranded.

The AUTO detection range... 2km > 3km as with ship sails in a smoke screen to find the DD. Not the NORMAL detection range which will be unaffected.

Uhm. 9 shells that do penetrate but not citadel have a potential of 9 * 0.3 * 13500 = 36450. So effectively he'd have to hit 6 shells into a penetrating but non citadel area and he'd still be on that 20k damage. -

It's just RNG... 3 citadels from one salvo against a Cleveland yesterday. Oh and 6 citadels from one salvo in my Hipper against an enemy Atago at 13 km... but that's obviously a CA.

You can see the same playstyle on NCs and Iowas too when they are top tier. My impression is, that this playstyle is a combination of several factors: The benefit of having all your main batteries fire at the enemy ship is negated by the fact that you have to expose your side to become vulnerable to citadel hits. DDs cannot bypass the other ships of the team to get around to do torp runs with the limited size of the maps. The superstructure seems to absorb most of the hits. Especially 3 is a problem because there is no real problem in taking hits to the superstructure in most cases. With AP the damage is neglectable in most cases and once the superstructure has absorbed enough damage it seems to simply not get damaged any more. -
We could use draught... ships automatically go up in tiers while sinking!

They experimented with all sorts of colours, even yellow, orange, green and brown to achieve that... too bad most pictures were taken when they still could only photograph in black and white, but especially among freighters some really strange patterns were tested during WWII.

Well when you are colour blind the only difference you see is the orientation... besides during dusk/dawn the difference between red and green fades when illuminated and you do actually not see much of the colors anymore... Btw. most camo patterns at sea never meant to obscure the ship totally but rather meant to break the silhouette making it difficult to get the correct range and course of the ship.

Do nothing even if he turns pink! I had a "duel" between a already pink Myoko and an Atago on my team once. The Atago started shooting the pink Myoko and after a while turned pink itself. The Myoko immediately responded in kind. In the end, the Myoko sank the Atago and with sinking the Atago he also sank himself from the return damage penalty. -
Well you do not win anything over a standard camo in terms of ship strength. It's rather not a pay to win but more a pay to less grind thing... and the later is fairly common among F2P titles...

The skin is useless anyways. You'd need to grind the credits anyways or dump even more money to buy the credits... Btw. do we still play a game or do we just buy progress now?
