Considering it upsets you, I'd also do it. And fire as she bears, as soon as the gun is loaded and aimed, fire it. Doubt that command would have any use on a modern warship considering that they usually only have one gun, rely more on missiles and have the guns only for self defense. Besides, I could recite you the proper commands for a german tank, if you need to know these (and are also playing WoT)... but who cares? If I wanted realism, I'd want them to reduce ships to their actual sizes and have them roll while out at sea so that your aim REALLY is as bad as 3-5% hits.

Yeah would be nice to have something more like that: "All ahead flank, right full rudder!" "Target Fuso, Range 160" "Forward batteries, FIRE!" "On target, fire as she bears!"

11 inch are more like 280mm. -
Nah, now you can retaliate and take TWO ships out for the price of ONE!

The point is, you are already drawing conclusions from your feeling without giving him any chance to say anything. When you already made up your mind, you will detect only notions you want to detect and fail to see the real argument.
-
And you missed the point.

It would indeed be interesting how accurate my aiming is compared to an aim assist mod. Considering I do hit a lot on the first salvo, it would really be interesting to see how far my aiming is off from what the mod calculates. The other thing is, that if the mod works on the current live client, it definitely needs to be disabled again... disabling mods in general will not work however, since you can still extrapolate it from the game data when you hack the client... The info is in the game data recieved from the server - and nothing forbids you to intercept the packages before they get delivered to the game client (just look at what WireShark is capable of).

I'm not judging him or anything. I don't know what is true or not, that is why I can't say if it is true or not. From alpha testing, I still know him a little, and normally wouldn't think he'd do something like that, but that is as good a guess as anything and might just as well be wrong as true. The fact is, I don't know him well enough to say one or the other with certainty. I was just pointing out that installing mods is independent of a replay. It is very well possible to only run the replay with the mod installed - but no one knows and no one can judge that by watching the replay alone.

Well best possible scenario: A joke that seriously backfired. Worst possible scenario: All accusations are true. We have neither the possibilities nor the knowledge to decide which one is true or not, so here comes the sh*t storm of accusations, presumptions and half truths. Welcome to the internet, that's how it is nowadays everywhere. The problem is, the rarest commodity on the internet is trust - and having that blown sky high now, well it develops exactly like expected...
-
Err what does a replay prove in terms of mods installed? I don't really get it.
-
In terms of strange MM... THAT is what is sometimes awkward.
-
it's applied to the result directly.

The only remaining warships of the World Wars in Germany are a Type VIIC Submarine in Laboe near Kiel and a Type XXI Submarine in Bremerhaven. Anything else was either sunk, scrapped or a war prize. As already said with the Goeben, during the 60's it was offered to Germany as a museum ship. Too bad that in early post war Germany no one wanted a symbol of war rusting in a german harbour so the offer was declined. -

Well the Kongo is a rather fragile BB being a battlecruiser. In a 4 vs 2 it is usually the right idea to keep your distance. The New Mexico you rather don't want to engage at point blank in a Kongo also... He should have tried to stay at 13-14 km though and angled his hull once the CA was also dead. If the BB continues to focus you and he can't put in enough damage he still has the option to turn and run at that distance. -

Well the Yorktown class is rather similar to the Lexington and the Essex... so which to pick? -
Also for a ship like the Hindenburg since it can't get stealth shooting capability anyways and acts as a spotter for the BBs mostly in that case.

Ooooor... you take the much better known SMS Emden - a Dresden-class light cruiser. -
The Hipper has 203mm guns. With 155mm you don't have a chance unless a random plunging hit. No, you don't aim at the waterline. You aim above the main armour belt. The occasional deviation that pulls a shell down in an angle sometimes manages to citadel at close range, though it's a lot easier at 13km+. If you manage to get plunging fire on the deck and not into the superstructure you will get citadel hits at that distance - since you're aiming at the superstructure at that distance anyways it's also a likely target to generate citadels at long range.
-
Mh... actually you can citadel at least the Japanese BBs except Yamato with a Hipper... they have to be sailing full broadside, but it does work in that case.

Official answer? I'm only watching Netflix... Unofficial answer: Whatever the drugs they take, they should either take less or more of it. Then again there are some really really good anime among those. Although they would still be classified as absolutely strange by most people here... and yeah, I've got a friend who actually studied Japanese and even got his degree just because he wanted to understand the ideas behind animes and mangas better. - Okay he really is a good artist himself, although he mostly paints abstract art and we arrive at a lot of different conclusions of what his work actually is, but he says that's fine and he likes what I think about his work so I guess I can't argue with that. -

Nah. First we get Arpeggio of Blue Steel... Btw. I just watched it on Netflix and have two things to say about it: Japanese are utterly bats*** crazy regarding what they make animes about (in a disturbing yet not negative way) Kongou is the same kind of crazy -
Neither will deviate much... besides drag - opposite to popular belief - has relatively little to do with mass and a lot more with surface of attack. The 15" shell has more than 4 times the surface of the 8" shell... while 800 kg is 6 times as heavy as 122kg, the 800kg shell recieves 4 times as much drag, so it drifts just 33% less than a 122kg shell due to drag. Besides, even if you take hurricane like winds of 100m/s (that is 360 km/h or 180 knots wind) you will deviate a 122kg shell by just below 100m (!) when it is fired over the whole distance. As for the rest of your post... if that is the case, why do almost all my BBs have 1.6 times the damage caused at their respective tiers compared to my CAs?
