    On a BB you basically only lose rudder on a torpedo hit aft. Anything else you rarely get any engine / rudder damage in a BB, so I'd rather go secondaries/AA as you've got quite good AA for your tier and that just adds to it... also it might occasionally finish of a DD getting too close.

    Just out of curiosity... Anyone ever tried a Ultra Wide screen like 21:9 or 48:9? Is it even possible to set a useful resolution for that kind of screen?

  4. So what? They decided that you can get the missions - and the following rewards - too. You still don't have to play ANY Arpeggio stuff... and now don't tell me that you're annoyed by the Mental Models in the mission background!? If so, then why do you still troll around here and not just leave. I mean if you're already annoyed by a tiny 250 x 150 pixel image, you clearly shouldn't play a game like this... gosh you might risk a heart attack when having to face the not so bright team mates sometimes...
  5. Taco just goes to 12 km range as she's almost twice as fast and fires AP into St Louis. 203 mm AP shells really hurt a St Louis.

    You are a 41.82% WR player. You deal an average of 10.718 damage with an average tier of 6.1. There is nothing wrong with unlucky fail teams, there is something wrong with you! YOU are the reason you lose most battles, you alone. Just for comparisons sake, I deal more than 4 times more damage than you. If you'd just manage to double the damage done, you'd easily jump by about 4-5% WR, even more if you'd improve it even further...

    DD shooting AP at russian DD hulls will cause 30% max damage opposed to no HE damage.
  9. ??? What on earth should be converted!? You get a free ARP Kongo or ARP Myoko including commander and port slot. There is nothing done with any ships you currently have in your port. You do not need to pay anything because nothing is taken from you.

    A 2000+ base XP game is an exceptional battle. That means he has at least 2 full HP ship kills. If he is running premium account, then it should be something like 550k for such a battle in a T5 prem BB. My own best result in a Tirpitz was 892k btw. and I've seen exceptional Tirpitz battles with 1.1 mil credits.

    If that is a prem account then no. A battle like that would likely be 500k+ on a prem account.

Depends... lose 10000 customers in Europe gain 100000 customers in Asia is a net gain I'd say... considering how many people actually live in Asia, you should better brace yourself for more of that stuff incoming... besides there is a certain amount of people in Europe that also likes Manga/Anime content.
  14. You need to have a T5 ship at least for Kongo - which itself is a T5 ship or a T6 ship for Myoko. But in both cases you need to play that ship enough so that you could also afford the respective ship anyways.

    Because bonuses stack multiplicative and not additive. 120 * 0.85 * 0.90 = 91.8 seconds (compared to 120 * 0.75 = 90 seconds)

    I did not state anything like that implicitly. More armour = more weight = more bouyancy needed = larger ship needed. It's such a basic thing that I thought you'd easily notice, but I guess I was wrong then. All I wrote is that russian DDs take more damage from CAs than other DDs due to their armour. You just interpreted it as a difference in HE mechanics when it is actually a difference in size. 203mm CA guns are large enough so that DD armour is inefficient in both cases anyways.

    Please try some spaces at least... Other than that, all WG games are designed that you have to buy premium to constantly play T8+.

    They are smaller and thus recieve fewer hits than russian DDs per salvo.

    On the other hand that causes especially high tier Russian DDs eat way more damage more from CAs compared to IJN or US DDs because of that.

    Tell me how to spot a Shimakaze in a Zao/Des Moines/Hindenburg when the Shimakaze isn't playing like a monkey. Shimakaze has 5.5 km spotting distance. Closest a CA can come to is 9.9 km spotting distance, so Shimakaze has 4.4 km to turn and get away. Meanwhile the CA is spotted the entire time and being pummeled by enemy BBs because he's that far ahead of the rest of his team.
  21. They are not free premium ships. They have no credit bonus and can only train ARP commanders. So they are special ships but not premium ships. Besides the effort you have to put in to get either ship is about the same to get their normal counterparts by normally playing the game...

    The main problem is the following: CAs counter DDs when DDs are spotted. CAs can however not spot DDs themselves (unless the DD is incompetent) and need own DDs to spot enemy DDs. BBs counter CAs when CAs are spotted. CAs get spotted when they try to do their job to counter DDs themselves. Invis firing CAs however can get BBs into serious trouble because BBs got hard time evading CA fire at 16 km while CAs can evade BB fire at that range so BBs also try to stay at their maximum range. This results in almost anyone trying to stay at their maximum range - not only but especially in high tier battles because of the lack of team play mostly. If people played as a team that wouldn't be a problem because DDs would spot each others at 5-7 km, CAs would be roughly 5 km behind them and support their DDs and BBs would be about 2-3 km behind those and would force enemy BBs to engage them instead of their CAs. However that rarely happens, because everyone is too afraid to get hit.

    Kirishima, not Kongo. Kongo is definitely already in game... though Kongo, Krishima and Haruna are all Kongo class BBs...
