    Huge problems with Aircraft carriers

    I found myself in a Indy up against a Saipan. I found the only way to deal with his fighters was to lure them over allied cruisers and then engage them. Was tricky to do this because the Saipan fighters are much quicker. What I found was the cruisers damaged them making it quicker for my planes to kill them. In this instance I shot down his whole squadron and lost all but one of my planes. I tried this a second time however and I lost my whole squad and he had 2 surviving planes. Still much better than fighting in clear skies where I lost a whole squadron and only shot down 1 of his fighters.
  2. Well the Game itself is very well made. The graphics look great and for Beta testing there seems to be very few bugs so very impressed with that. The Gameplay is good, however I can see it becoming quite stale quite quickly because I cant see much skill being needed in this game. Essentially everyone drives to the front and then dukes it out and it comes down to last one standing. There is some skill in maneuvering but not a great deal. I would love to see an advanced firing mechanism be introduced similar to the old navyfield gun turrets where you manually adjust the direction and angle of your guns. This would make it much harder than just pointing and clicking and so reward skill. Of course some people want the ease of pointing and clicking so I would propose having the option of doing either, however if you kit your ship out with manual firing controls you get a boost in either shell damage or improved shell spread.

    Fair enough, that would make a big difference. Also take the point about 3d being harder for manual control.
