Modding the sound files isn't a solution, it's a workaround. A solution would be a 'Disable Quick Command Audio' checkbox.

Just to add my 2 cents - if people find them useful, that's great. I don't find the audio component at all useful and would really like a way to disable it. That the volume slider marked 'Voice messages' has no effect on the volume of these voice messages is frustrating in the extreme.

Also an issue for me - directing aircraft is a matter of clicking closer and closer until you hit the right target or place. Hugely irritating. Is it a question of settings, or is that just the way it is?
