I have Ark Beta AND Nikolai but never play either. Why? No AA turns you into an XP pinata in the double CV games you perpetualy face. Shame.

Used to love this game; in fact it was the only game I played Not touched it in ages; CVs but especially subs have killed it for me (at least for the foreseeable future)

I would be up for it but I remember in a stream or something they said that the game engine wasn't suited to wooden ships, cannon and sails etc. Mind you they say a lot... -

Any CVs. They ruin stealth or conceal based tactics which is a major part of the game imo.

First game of the day is always the slowest for me: I'll load in just as battle starts. Subsequent battles I'll load in with about 15 secs to spare. It has been like this for years. I haven't noticed any changes related to the introduction of subs. -

Funnily enough I got my first one yesterday. Rammed a t10 sub in my fantastique. Satisfying doesn't cover it. -
The constant double CV at low tiers must surely deter a decent amount of new players; it certainly puts me off
