I think the Bismarck needs looking at.....put 9 16inch AP shells from my Izumo into its broadside at a range of 10km.........and nothing.......did damage and even had an over pen but not even a citadel........... oh why must you be soo cruel RNGesus -
I have been playing my Izumo in a supporting role and I have done ok ish got the first hull upgrade and the range upgrade but to be honest I am still learning it I have only had it a few days. She is not a bad ship but if you get caught out you pay for it dearly. Also anyone got any tips???

Not really worth it for the Amagi to be honest. The turning mod or the damage control mod are much better.

I wouldn't say that German BB's are OP they haven't been out long so lots of people are playing them something similar happens every times a new line of ships are introduced to the game. -

I'm quite liking this ship those guns are nice gave a few BB's a lesson about not showing their sides earlier -

yea if i remember correctly a lot of effort was put into the development of 15inch guns by the British and had naval limitation treaty's not come into effect I suspect a lot more development would have been done on 16inch guns by the British. -

its not all that slow when you consider that the speed of something traveling in excess of 343 meters per second will break the sound barrier. Now consider the fact that 750m/s is more than twice the speed of sound. Its quite interesting really. -

Indeed I wonder what she could have become if she had been modernized instead of being scraped. Personally I think one of the changes would have been to make her secondary battery fully automatic just like the guns fitted to HMS Tiger. Anyway I still think HMS Vanguard is the best looking ship closely followed by the King George V class -

It has to be HMS Vanguard for me. She is one good looking ship and the last of a breed. -

for me its the "Grand Old Lady" herself HMS Warspite -
+1 I like this idea. It would be nice if you could send a ship you want to keep but don't use into reserve. It would also be nice if you could see every ship you have docked up some were as well that would be epic. and seeing as the RN cruisers are on their way Portsmouth docks anyone

The Cruel Sea is also another good book its about a fictional RN convoy escort the book was even made into a film. Of course there is always the Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian which is well worth a read if you liked the film "Master and commander" you will like the books.
