I've returned to playing WoWS a lot having been away for most of the year. The atmosphere is definitely better.

I'm amazed we made it this far without someone asking for the replay. It should be mandatory for Warspite drivers to sing "koo koo ca choo" (yes I know it reads "Goo goo g' joob") when you lunch your spotter.

If Detonations are plaguing you as much as you suggest then the magazine upgrade is more important than the other options.

Top Gremyashchy - is excellent Benson - Positive WR at relatively high tier and memorable matches Warspite 60% WR and that genuine feeling of pride sailing her Bottom Tirpitz - not got hte hang of tier 8 BBs yet New Mexico - terrible performances in this. Can't make her work. St Louis - Supposed to be the best at tier III yet I could never get it to work

Because the ship will sell for credits. I'll get the credits for selling her and then get the ship back. [Edit] I see that I won't have to do this to get the credits.

The 12 point commander is worth grinding for on his own. I already have the ship and will sell it as I close in on the end of the missions.

Was in a battle earlier and Pointy Haird Jedi was on the other team in a Leander.

It was just the first step in what has been a relentless degrading of the ability of DDs to fight the bigger ships.

I want situational awareness back where it belongs on the third row, like it was in Closed Beta.

Compared to having to buy a closed beta ship to even play this seems nothing. It is just early access to a ship if you're buying the most expensive package.

I agree with OP on all points and I can offer proof. In the games where I've invested money and time over the last five years my stats are pretty average, hovering either side of a 50% WR. If I needed to win more I'd have to leave and find something else to play I'm better at.

Yes. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that the players will get screwed. There is precedent for that also. I have both Fubuki and Kagero at the moment. What should happen for me? At the end of the changes I believe I should have: Tier VI Fubuki; Tier VIII Kagero; and Tier IX Yûgumo

I have every expectation of this. For those of us with a Fubuki we can reasonably expect to have a Fubuki at Tier VI and to be given the tier VIII replacement as well. To give you the precedence: Approx 2 years into WoT the Soviet Heavy Tank line was split into two. The Tier IX IS-4 was buffed and made a Tier X tank. Those of us who had the Tier IX tank got the new tier X version and a replacement, the IS-8 (now the T-10) at tier IX. So we gained a tank and a crew and a slot. I'm less enthusiastic about the "crews." One of the ships is probably going to end up with a much poorer commander. That's what I'm expecting anyway.

Thanks. I learned to use fighters and DBs from a video some oriental guy made which was actually very good. i think his second video covers torpedo 'plane attacks and I need to watch a strafing tutorial.

Not unsportsmanlike at all to protect your team from the enemy. I've had thanks from my team before now. In fact it involves sacrifice because you don't usually earn a lot of credits or XP. I shall however learn to use some torpedo bombers, perhaps playing against bots at first. I have little desire however to grind out any CV line, it is usually a rare thing for me to play in CVs.

New Mexico; Tier VI US BB: 9 battles played 1 win. I just can’t seem to work her to achieve victory. Contrast my 59% WR in Warspite at the same tier.

Pretty much what I'm trying to do, although my DB squadrons have finished off a few nearly dead DDs in the closing stages.Searching for and spotting the enemy ships for my team to hunt down is also worthy practice. I've yet to play a battle where I have Torpedo Bombers. I have had some caustic comments from my opponent when I've shot down his last 'plane. Makes it worth while. You don't get a ton of XP but my WR is healthy.
