I'll always be a WoT player first but I have had such fun at times in my ships. Happy Birthday* WoWS * based on that sudden announcement from nowhere I recall that they had launched... Still expecting another progress wipe....

The whole point of the notification that you are detected is to warn you. If you can't see an enemy ship it is supposed to warn you. It was originally something you had to earn and to decide to spend 3 skill/perk points on. By now, in the ever continuing drive to completely break DD game play, you get it for free.

Gotcha. I certainly look at this game and wonder about cruisers. I don't play them a great deal. When I do venture out in my Kutuzov I just follow the biggest BB around hoping to provide AA cover. Sure, I get shots off and do some damage and whatnot, but I can't help feeling like I'm an ancillary rather than a main protagonist. I also know that if the enemy BBs decide to target me I'll be a colander in short order.

Came back to the game recently after a long break and when I started playing I could barely hit the sea most of the time. I've been playing a lot since (this last fortnight or more) and I've improved so much I'm better at naval gunnery than I ever was last year. If I consider what the skills are of a player who has played constantly all along since closed beta, I've no doubt that they can hit what they like most of the time.

Essentially what you are saying here is "merge the two classes." If you give Cx more HP, more range and the ability to heal it just becomes so like a BB it may as well be a BB.

I know what I want to be next. RN DDs. They are really the reason I play this game. Trouble is none are likely to match the Gremyashchy.

I do this. It's as though I zone out his having torps. I know exactly what to do but don't do it in the heat of the excitement of banging salvo after salvo into the guy.
