I had that with a CV player in a still-in-the-balance ranked battle. I said I was going to sink the enemy CV because I was alone with it and closing fast (Anshan with engine boost and the 5% speed boost from flags can shift) and he attacked the CV with his planes anyway. Then he sent in his fighters to mop up the enemy DBs and TBs. I berated him saying his fighters should now spot the enemy fleet. At least he took notice of that.

Yeas I'd prohibit them from random PVP battles also. The only way to work off pinkness should be PVE. That'' learn 'em!

I've had a lot of success with Warspite by just turning the ship to bring the guns to bear. There are risks of course, such as exposing a broadside, but she turns fast for a ship her size.

Downside is that the ammo costs something upwards of four times as much.

It's not an analogy to which I subscribe, however the players who chose a class of ship thinking it should be invulnerable to smaller ships are vociferous in complaining that the cruisers and DDs can hurt them with HE. It has resonance with Maus drivers being indignant that smaller tanks can damage them. That is the extent of similarity.

I think the popularity of German Battleships is of little surprise; this is the Eu server after all. Who doesn't want a Bismarck? I bought a Scharnhorst in a moment of weakness abut have come to realise it was a good decision as it is entertaining to play.

"Premium ammunition." Originally it was ammo with better performance that you could only buy with gold. For a long time now it has been available for in-game credits. It costs a lot more than the "regular" ammo and to use much at high tiers requires premium account and premium vehicles to generate enough credits. There are many players who drive heavily armoured tanks who complain endlessly about "gold spam." It was no surprise to find that BB drivers complain about "HE spam" from cruisers, although the ammo is standard.

I suppose this isn't what OP was after but I'm still primarily a tank player. I've 41k battles in WoT and my seventeenth Tier X is unlocked and waiting for me to find the credits to buy it. I own all the premium tanks you could ever buy. Contrast this with WoWS, where there are many premium ships I'll never buy. I'm one player who has been very dissatisfied with the game lacking any significant Royal Navy content, and that has led to me not playing as much as I would have.

If I tell you what has happened before in tanks. The Tier IX IS-4 was made into a Tier X and you were given it as the Tier IX and were given the new tank at Tier IX which was the IS-9 (now the T-10). I have Fubuki and Kagero. I expect to be given the Tier VI Fubuki and whatever replaces it at Tier VIII in that torpedo DD line.

I detect the use of what the young people refer to s a "mobile 'phone" in writing OPs post. In reply I can only say what do you want WG to do? Its not like they are happy with only a few players on the server. They want more, you want more... Fortunately the tanks is very much more polular and you can get a full match in at anything above the lowest tiers 24/7.
