I've managed a good return rate in all except the Emerald. Leander was excellent as is Fiji. You do have to play them a certain way and it turns out that that means treating them like outsize DDs They rely on someone to spot the enemy while you set yourself up side on, smoke up and let rip. No cruiser is safe from the RN AP, which also deals nicely with DDS. BBs are tougher. I tend to find a salvo from Fiji does approx 3k damage. I have the ships set for max range secondaries which is from where I get fires started. I've also done a fair bit of damage with torpedoes.

Issue is: "Commonwealth" isn't a nation and the UK is part of it. I don't think they needed to have the ships of the Commonwealth not be in the UK Royal Navy line. They've made their decision and I've made mine. I'll keep the money. -
The moment I flushed two DDs out from their smoke using a Tier IV cruiser was when I realised I'd found my new favourite line. I've had games in my Leander that would amaze... So...

If they can have ships of arch enemies share captains like the Ashan and Yo Lang it beggars beleif that the Royal Navies can't share commanders. So we could get the ability to swap commanders between Canadian, New Zealand and Australian ships but not the Royal Navy? Bonkers. They'll get no money from me to buy premium "Commonwealth" ships. -

I'm sure I'd buy this if it were in the RN tech tree... But I'm certainly not buying it because I can't use my RN commanders in it. I was going to start a thread "How not to sell me a premium ship." -

I'll just add that I like the container system... mostly. I think the credits crates are a bit of a joke because 50k is neither here nor there. The flags and camo crates are the ones I like.

I'm relaxed and I only have the 1 Tier IX+ ship, Kagero. I'll need to get less than a win a day in it. I'm going to get the Fletcher as well as it is unlocked.

Atmosphere here is a good deal less toxic than on the tank forums. I even get on here with the very same players I am at odds with there. In answer to the second question - see the film "Under Siege," which was one of his least worst outings set on one of the Noo Joisey Iowa class BBs. -
I have to back up those here saying play every class because you can't have any idea what threat or weakeness each class presents until you do.
