AFT. You will find that having your secondaries batter that DD you are chasing out of smoke is very satisfying. Incidentally your secondaries do fire HE. Also it boosts your AA, which is something handy in a line of ships with no super AA consumable.

It is amazing how the Tiers 5-6-7 increase in fire power going from single to double to triple turrets. Fiji seems to melt enemy cruisers.

Although i voted for the second option it occurs to me that a swift victory gets you into your next battle sooner.

Will be playing the DDs. I don't like the Jerry cruisers..

That's when my spotter plane goes up. Most battles it is the only time I use it.

Raw stats show RN performing well in higher tiers. This is WR based, which may not be your preferred parameter

Tier VIII is another disgraceful outcome

Tier VII the Royal Navy is only second and third in overall win rate. A scandal I tell you!

If people are giving up on the Royal navy CL line before getting to Tier VI it is no bad thing. Leander is OP. If the game were flooded with them no other cruisers would get a look in. Leander is third most successful Tier VI and easily the best cruiser.

Small amounts will discourage buying gold because the small amounts are enough to demount upgrades. WG will take the risk with people wanting to leave.

Warspite is fine as she is. Turn the ship to turn the guns... ...but think ahead. You should be thinking two shots ahead where you wilil want want to point her.

Asking for free gold is not going to work because WG want you to run out so you will buy some.

AFT. When you get close enough to a DD hiding in a smoke cloud to flush him out with your sonar, your secondaries will open up. I've set fire to battleships only this weekend with the secondaries on Fiji.

And I get a fair bit of damage done with torpedoes. Yeah they really do play like DDs. They work well just behind your DDs supporting them against enemy cruisers and DDs.

[edited] In the case of Warspite, she was the only British ship available for a very long time; it was never possible to assign him to a silver ship until the CL tree was released. Mine is a 16 pointer. He's currently assigned to HMS Fiji. It cost some gold because his skills didn't quite fit and of course retraining without gold is a massive pain. But the time was well spent.

I like destroyers. Of the options put forward I'd take Anshan but be aware that the commander can't cross train on any other ship except Yo Lang, Tier VIII DD.

I think I was fortunate in having played Destroyers as my favourite class since the outset. My only Tier VIII and IX ships (non premium) are Destroyers. I think it really made playing the RN CL line easier for me. The thing is they are still cruisers and their stealth is all down to their smoke. Destroyers are sneaker still. The RN DD line is what I really want. What they do with that is of some considerable interest.
