My global WR has gone up nearly a full % point since i started playing these RN CLs. Leander and Fiji are excellent and I just got Edinburgh. Yesterday I platooned (divisioned) up with two old clan mates, each of us in a Belfast. What a powerful force they make! Our side won 7 out of nine played in these. I'm quite convinced that the mix would be better yet with one Belfast swapped out for a Fiji.

Certainly haven't sunk many enemy ships; the DBs aren't good. But I'll take a 54% WR over my global WR which was at the time about 48%. -

This is a ridiculous post. If I can kill all your 'planes with my Bogue I'm helping my team by protecting them from your planes. Once I have total air superiority I can spot the entire enemy fleet at will. As for it "ruining" the game for the other CV player on the other team.... well beating you is what the Bogue is doing. -

Leander is a good old tub. Quite the best Tier VI cruiser I have played so far, as long as you have someone to spot for you and somewhere to go when your smoke isn't running.

I'd not play the Royal Navy until you have some good experience of the game in general and of playing destroyers.

Honestly I don't even know why anyone would want this. However... if it were a popular idea then having it be an option wouldn't bother me because I'd just switch it off. So a neutral response from me.

However the premium Royal Navy ships have the same inferior AP as all the inferior Navies. You need to let go of the obsession with HE.

Moral of this story is to make your own mind up.. especially on "free" ships. Premiums are different of course.

Since I started playing every day again afteer the release of the RN CL tree I check my stats all the time. They seem to be moving in the right direction. -
You only win if your team plays better than the enemy team. Seems blindingly obvious, yet OP seems to have overlooked it.

Is buying the Kagero a good investment for when the new DD line drops?

When I was playing the Benson a lot as I ground through it the longer range shots started being more accurate as i became used to firing those guns. My skill has atrophied there though and I've not played Benson/Yo Lang much of late. Point being that Fubuki stands no chance at any engagement range against Benson unless the player in the Benson is utterly inexperienced. -
Tier VII Fiji in a Tier IX battle this morning. Top scorer on winning side sinking a Kiev, Bismarck and Iowa. Was able to work the pop out from an island, smoke up and hammer away routine. Only did 68k damage but bonuses for damaging/sinking those higher tier ships gave me a good result. Notice how the top scorer on the losing team was the lowest tier also and another Fiji. I expect to unlock Edinburgh this weekend.

One way of looking at it. The other way is that the other BBs sunk at Pearl on 7/12/41 were looted from that war grave, refloated and put back in the fight.

Belfast is a ship which benefits significantly from having a 15 point commander using concealment expert. You're unlikely to have that skill if you're just buying a premium now (my Belfast commander came with Warspite and has 16 points). Scharnhorst is a pretty good ship.

I have the Kagero and Fubuki. I've every expectation of getting replacement for Kagero at Tier IX, the Kagero herself at tier VIII and Fubuki at Tier VI. What interests me most is what I will get by way of commander retraining.
