I'm not justifying anything. Again putting words in my mouth and then criticising me for something i haven't said. All I've done is describe what has happened and my feelings about it. -
I can live without the ship I'm not going to get from the "sink 20 of various nations" mission. Realistically, if I do play any of them I'm going to chose just one of the (for example) Kongo clones and play just it so as not to dilute my commander skills. Ting is - if you want there to be Russian ships out there, play Russian ships yourselves. I play Tashkent every day until I get a win in her.

For what reason would I not be happy they gave me something of value I wasn't expecting? For what reason should I not be happy? You seem to have a comprehension defect. I am asking why you would sell the new tier VIII if you think the line has been buffed. -

No. I didn't expect the tier IX camo job. That's where you're very very wrong. It was a very pleasant surprise. No wonder the logic is flawed since it is not my logic. The stats of the players are entirely irrelevant. If the new tier VIII ship Kagero is better than the old tier VIII Fubuki why did you sell it? -

It is irrelevant what it says in the patch notes if someone receives a thing over and above what is said in those notes. Only if someone is expecting something based on the patch notes that doesn't materialise is the wording of the patch notes relevant. Performance of the DDs is relevant since that seems to be why you sold the Tier VIII DD. It isn't as good as the Fubuki you were used to. Reason it isn't as good is the line being nerfed, which is why I raised the issue. Man you sound peevish. Someone else got something for free I'd be happy for them. -
It'll be on sale over xmas I reckon. That or the identical Fujin which was on sale only a month ago.

You have exactly the same opportunities as anyone You don't want to do some of the missions, or get the ships required to try the missions, yet you want to gain the same rewards as those who are prepared to do so. Missions are not compulsory. If you don't want to do them then don't. No one has any sympathy for those of us who will not do them because they're not prepared to put the effort in. If there is any component that requires me to have a high tier BB or a CV over Tier V then I'll not be able to complete them unless I get some of the required ships. Just like anyone else. And if I don't then it is on me. My choices led to that situation. -

So what? Fact is I did receive it. Stupid poll if it didn't clarify. Poll intention is to justify your own sense of loss, which many others do not share because what we actually got is more relevant than what it says in any patch notes. All the IJN DDs are inferior to what they were before pretty much. The whole line is being nerfed. This is the point of the exercise. If you think it is bad now, you haven't been paying attention to the proposed new captain skill which will always indicated the direction of he nearest enemy vessel, whether you or anyone else has seen it or not. -

I don't understand where I'm supposed to have "lost" a 3000 dubloon camo. I originally paid 3000 for camo for my Fubuki at Tier VIII. Now I have that camo on Fubuki at Tier VI (this is bonus camo on a bonus ship!), camo on my Kagero at Tier VIII (this is what I consider I paid for) and camo on my Yugumo (bonus). I got two free premium camos and still have the Tier VIII premium camo I paid for. -

No I did not. I have only ever bought perma camo for three DDs Benson, Minekaze and the old Fubuki. This new Tier IX ship Yugumo has the -3%/+4% 20% reduced costs and 100% XP - Type 19 camo for free. That would be 4000 gold to buy! I would never have bought it because the ship is not a keeper. -

You paid for premium camo on your Tier VIII DD. Your Tier VIII DD has premium camo. I don't see the problem, other than a sense of entitlement to free stuff going unfulfilled. I paid for Fubuki camo some months back. My Kagero has camo there now. I also got camo on other ships, s like the new Tier IX which replaced my old Kagero at that tier. I've gained as part of the reworking of the ships. I still have what I paid for. Some others have got something free I paid for? Good for them. Compare this though. I bought prem camo for Minekaze and that ship is now no good. There is a genuine cause for complaint. I shall however not make an issue of it because I got free premium camo paint for my Tier IX. -
You may be playing at too high tier for your "skills" to offset RNG. Such a nice way of saying what I mean to say.

So you don't fire torpedoes in that situation unless it is you who is blind. -
Because had he had any awareness of what was taking place in the battle he'd have been aware of the torpedoes. For their entire run they would be visible to him. Had he looked around even a little bit he'd have seen them instead of blundering into them. As I said he wasn't engaging any enemy at the time. The pair were keeping well away from the enemy. Probably had the 20km torps and players who used those are... you know...

No. I was in my Tashkent the other day in a knife fight with a Benson which I torpedoed and sank, while surviving myself. I was rather pleased with that result. Later two Kagero decided to sail through a cap we already had right into the path of the six remaining torpedoes the best part of 7km behind where I'd fought the Benson. Sure enough one was dumb enough to sail right into one. They were nowhere near combat and had no reason to not see the torpedoes since friendly fish are always visible. Just atrocious play on their part. Still... I take responsibility for the damage as I must. I just don't feel bad about it.
