If you are at the range when you are lobbing shots in then you are not close enough. And RN AP is way, way better than anyone else's AP for the same calibre.

I get about 200 free XP from a 1200 XP battle so your numbers are off. I'll sail mine on Thursday. Price of a couple of decent bottles of wine. I have five years on Wot and I expect similar in this. I'd get there for free eventually, but why wait?

Playing DD I believe it is my job/task/responsibility to at least contest the cap. If I'm in Tashkent then I'll support a friendly DD rather than cap unless I'm the only one there, in which case I'll cap.

Effects of the camo on a passable Yûgumo victory just now. Its a shame for me that they'll, take the camo from my other ships, but I can't really complain. I've benefited heavily already and I'm less than 12,000 XP from the Shimakaze and will sell Yûgumo when I get there.

Spotting mechanics in WoWS are fine as they are, now you get some credit for spotting in damage. That said, I can see where OP is coming from. One of the better thought out calls for change. The mechanics work the way they do t stop planes being too powerful.
