I play a lot less than I would because of the constant and never ending destruction of DD play. Friends have stopped playing altogether because of it, and I do not exaggerate at all there. Soon there will only be BB players left. This summer has only had the Cricket and that is over.

Belfast will melt Scharnhorst close in. As you say your best option is to get close enough to spot him by proximity.

Seconded. You'll have a greater understanding of what you want before dropping money. Not all BBs are the same. From my experience the German line is superb. Scharnhorst is excellent as long as you don't get too close to a Belfast, you'll do well.

The tanks are actually fine, it is the advertising we resent. My second favourite aspect of this was that I "earned" a WGL decal that I could stick on one of my tanks this year. Yep. the very same logo everyone hates to see on a tank and they expect me to put it on one of my tanks! So what is my favourite aspect? They were selling these in bundles! Yes! I have no idea who would by them.

I had one disconnection in mid battle last evening. I logged back in to find I was the only one that disconnect had happened to. Led to my first loss in Bismarck after eight games.

The horror of logging on and seeing the garbage camouflages we're supposed to be content with. In WoT I modify the appearance of just two tanks out of the whole collection of hundreds because i don't like the advertising of WGL. In WoWS the main benefit of mods is to have camouflage not look like utter crap.

Yeah so World of Tanks' demise was foretold by the arrival of War Thunder Ground Forces. Didn't happen World of Tanks' demise was also predicted with the release of Armored (sic) Warfare. Didn't happen. Some destroyers coming to War Thunder's Boatey McBoat Battles isn't going to end WoWS.

Fast, super armour, needs the fire suppression commander skill. AA is hilarious if DBs attack. Turning circle bad - That I can live with Guns are garbage. Perform less well than Warspite's for no reason except bad balancing. I anticipate these will be upgraded in time.

WoWS is not "RL." If you are spotted by anyone on the enemy team you are spotted by everyone on that team within drawing range. That's the way it is supposed to work. it is an import from the spotting mechanics in a popular tank based game.

Ships are a sideline for me.

Interesting. I was playing Tanks last evening around the same time and the servers were both buggered.

So I played this in Warspite and then Perth and failed both times, failed hard dying early. Then I watched this... ...and dusted off my own Cleveland. At the first attempt my team nailed it. All five stars. We lost two ships. I went back on half health and got a full repair off two Liberty Ships parked next to each other. I did 82k damage and grossed 245k credits 5.3k XP and - best of all - my 10 point IJN guy. I bought Akizuki, which I had not bought previously because i didn't have a decent commander. My one regret was not messaging the CV player on our team with thanks and congrats at his excellent work playing in Independence. Wave after wave of enemy attack 'planes splashed and he was top scorer
