    The problem of high tier battles is the meta shift, and not only for single classes, but also when you take a look at balance in between classes. For example, battleships (with exceptions) eclipse somewhere in between tier 7 and 8 (total package of firepower, maneuverability and staying power), whereas carriers clearly eclipse at tier 10. So while you can still more or less boldly advance with a Nagato or Gneisenau, even against adversaries like Shiratsuyu or Hiryu (your two nemesis classes), you will have a hard time pushing in a Kurfürst versus adversaries like Gearing or Hakuryu.

    Ist halt die Frage, was "erreicht" werden soll mit den Missionen. Wenn Spieler an höhere Spielstufen herangeführt werden sollen, bzw. wenn der Anreiz sein soll höhere Stufen zu spielen, dann sind absolute Schadenszahlen der entsprechend richtige Weg. Ansonsten könnte die Mission auch lauten: Zerstöre Schlachtschiff-Lebenspunkte im Wert von 150% deiner eigenen Stufe und könnte damit auch schon ab Stufe 6 erfolgreich begangen werden (wären dann irgendwas zwischen 75k und 90k HP).

    The thing is that due to the small size of low tier maps an AS Bogue could already shut down equal or lower tier CVs anyway. So the problem just moved up a level and was even magnified due to the removal of manual attacks. I don't care that you have better fighters and manual attacks *if* there is just enough space to properly evade them. P.S.: To make this clear, yes the removal of manual attacks for low tier carriers is a very bad thing, however low tier carriers have always been prone to be shut down due to map size.

    I am pretty sure that it is the display which is not working, not the skill that is failing. Jump in a PvE battle, get yourself damaged to half HP and check the actual reload vs the displayed reload, should be 10% less.

    Speed boost - on why Henry IV WILL suck

    In general speed boost should be made a more flexible consumable, providing more benefits than just slightly increased speed to bring it in line with other consumables strengths. For example call ist 'Emergency power' and have it grant boni to speed, rudder shift, turning circle and speed bleed for a certain period of time and you will have implemented an excellent 'active dodge' mechanic/button. Where 'Repair Party' is all about mitigating damage that has already been done, 'Emergency Power' could all be about mitigating damage before it occurs.

The biggest issue I found is that when you are knife fighting in DDs over caps, and you have sucessfully outplayed and forced the other DD into using his smoke first, you more or less have to use your smoke too because everybody and his mom will still see you for a full 20 seconds even if their proximity spotter just bailed. So my reward for playing good is that I have to use my consumable too...

    High Tier Match Balance

    The only thing which imho is not working, especially in high tier matches is destroyer balance, neither by number, nor by type, which is especially bad in domination or epicenter battles. Sometimes it feels like the matchmaker is using loaded dice...
  21. Alternative solution: Raise the minimum CA number in any given game from 2 to 4. Alternatively it can also be 0. Lift maximum numbers for BBs and DDs entirely. This way you could take two unliked 5/2/5 battles and create one 4/4/4 (or 3/4/5 or 5/4/3) and one 6/0/6 (or 7/0/5 or 5/0/7) battle.
  22. QFT Get random 12BB vs 12BB battles and *bam* no problem with "but queueing times" lame excuses anymore to not fix the match maker.

    Normal penetration damage on DDs

    The are on the "all BB's need to shoot them ded with AP, because no non-Russian DD should be visible for a full 30 seconds of reload anyway" side. Mr. Segal and his special ability is the only time where I do consider a reload (7.5 sec), depending on the actual reload status vs. the minimal DD visibility (usually 20 sec).
