Well, I for one think it is only fair to seek the AA cover of your firendly CV because he is the one responsible for the fact that there are CVs in your game in the first place. /s

  5. Well, do you know what wins games? Spotting. And do you know what provides spotting? DDs (usually). And do you know what kills DDs fast? Any combination of spotting (CV, radar, other DD) in combination with either a) a rapid firing or b) hard hitting and well camouflaged enemy support ship (either natural camo or smoke). And once DDs are down things usually go south very quickly. Now take a look at the ships and lines that have been introduced recently. "Spammers" and "ambushers" do not work versus BB only.

What are the best T6 Techtree ships to practice in?

While map awareness is valuable in any ship it is invaluable with destroyers and cruisers. You need to pay close attention on the enemy fleet setup, which ships have already been sunk and don't pose a thread anymore, which ships have been accounted for on your side of the map, which ships have been accounted for on other parts of the map and especially which ships have NOT been accounted for. Always assume that ships that have not been spotted so far are on your side of the map and play accordingly! Last thing you want in a DD is to be suprised by a radar cruiser, a superior DD or any combination of DD and cruiser (or even BB, especially if RN). Last thing you want in a cruiser is being broadside to an enemy cruiser or BB opening fire at 12 kilometers or less. In case of cruisers you could also try the tier 1 skill "incomming fire alert" in addition to always trying to stay aware who is aiming where. Though "priority target" is usually considered the better skill because of the meta information provided by knowing how many enemies are targeting you or to get an early torpedo warning (at least versus DD players that dont know how to trick it), I use IFA on almost all my cruisers because I found that knowing how many enemies are targeting you is fine but actually knowing that they have just started shooting you helps my evasion game a lot, especially if you are shot by an unseen ship. So as soon as IFA goes off and for some reason I don't know where the shoots are comming from I throw in an emergency maneuvre away from the enemy / most probable angle of attack.

What are the best T6 Techtree ships to practice in?

Well, the thing is that both Trento (with smoke and SAP) and Guepard (no smoke) have unique playstyles that can't properly be trained or replicated with ships out of other tech trees. As far as T6 DDs go there are plenty of options. The German Gaede can mount hard hitting guns and at T6 that hydro is killer. The american Farragut either has plenty of gunpower and long duration smoke (B hull, which I prefer) or even AA capabilities (C hull), however is a little lacking in the torpedo department (range). Or you could try one of the Japanese DDs, however due to increased detectability those usually struggle somewhat if they have to fight their T5 counterparts. As far as T6 cruisers go they are more or less all glass cannons, however I was always fond of the Aoba. Hard hitting guns, good speed, camo and torps. Only downside is the number of guns and slow reload which on the other hand forces you to aim properly and may help you with Trentos SAP (try to aim for superstructure). As far as T6 BBs go I would recommend the Bayern instead of the Fuso. While the Fuso arguably is the better ship I do not find it to be the better training ship. As Fuso can be seen from the moon, has one of the weaker armor schemes (as far as BBs go) and many guns it quickly teaches you to stay at range and snipe from the backline. Bayern has considerably less and a little derpy guns but better camo and armor which can teach you a lot how to take opportunistic shots from relatively close range, how to angle properly and how to use camo to your advantage, even as a BB. However if you do please use a survival spec as a secondary spec will lead you nowhere, especially at T6.

Can they go further beyond Smolenks

Very nice points, especially about the effect and influence of skill ceiling, however you also need to take into account the phychological aspect of games, especially if you are at the receiving end. And I have seen enough Smolensks melting down full health Yamatos in no time. Does this win them their battles automatically? Hell no. Does it feel broken when you are the captain of said Yamato. Hell yes. It is the same like with CV's. The average CV and player probably is not broken, however when not targeted by a total potatoe there is few you can do against an enemy CV and the class thus feels broken. And even a total potatoe CV might get you killed in a DD if he just manages to throw enough planes in your general direction and keep you spotted semi-permanently while most probably also losing the game in the process.

    Simply BAD Premium Ships

Not entirely in line with that video, because how much you love/hate or even rate a ship may easily be related to your own, personal playstyle. As unicum players often need to to carry DPM is paramount and ships that do not have that "carry potential" or that can not be made to use their full potential are usually mostly disregarded. In contrast to this line of reasoning and as an example let me just tell you that I am having a blast in my low DPM but reasonably sturdy Prinz Eugen, while I severely loathe ships like Donskoy or Neptune simply for being way too squishy (for my playstyle). So will I ever be able to carry as much in the PE as I could in the later two (tier for tier and after adjusting my playstyle to match the ship)? Probably not. Will I therefore rate the PE as a bad ship? Surely not as having fun in a ship > DPM.

    Simply BAD Premium Ships

Try "solving" an enemy CV with radar, good luck. And since when is 5.6km concealment considered mediocre? Are we comparing to Isokaze or what? Having said so Black most probably is the better ship, especially when looking at the ship per steel price tag as Flamu already mentioned, however this does not automatically mean that the Neustra is a bad ship.

    Why AA skills are worthless

    1. Remove all immunity timers and hidden mechanics like slingshot drop, deplaning reckless CV players needs to be a thing again. 2. Rebalance plane HP, continuous AA and relevant skills according to the supposed role of the CV (obviously not that trivial because you will need to reach a general understanding of that role first). 3. Greatly lower the skill ceiling for Flak (e.g. have an option for arrows pointing out the "best" direction in which to evade), so that only the most inattentive players will suffer from excessive Flak losses (but make Flak somewhat unavoidable once you approach a group of ships). The only way to solve this mess is a complete revamp of the plane / AA interaction. The CV skill factor in WoWs should not be who can better strike an Arkansas Beta or a fully AA specced Des Moines but where to strike at any given time, i.e. help versus a DD running wild one one flank or strike the one key ship that is stalling your other flank.

How is everyone getting on with Puerto Rico grind?

Three words: Too complicated event. If alternative approaches A, B and C and their respective combinations would have been known in advance everything would have been fine and not ended up in a mess. Currently at 23/36 and will go up slightly once I finish the 3rd directive by playing rather casually. In fact, another major event that WG made me not even bother with.
  20. Yep. Pretty much expect that. Play while it lasts. Any overhaul of the modules will turn the good ones bad and the bad ones good. You know, there needs a reason for the RB to exist...
