I did check the topic and i still remain with my statement. The A hull of the Bismarck is as close to the Bismarck in real life we could get and ok Fine i admit they did not show that version of the model in the video (it was the B hypotheticall added stuff hull). But yet instead of just mentioned like "wrong modelled ship you are showing," or something of such. You go on a complete tirade gameplay more then just the model displayed on screen. The game displays like a 1/5th most likely more of the true distance and scale of real life. a minimap of true life you could say (so parameters is way off to real life scales). They haven't said the Gameplay would be HISTORICALLY ACCURATE, they say their models are Accurate to the blueprints they are given (with hypothetical uppgrades to make them function better in Gameplays (which they keep mentioning when it comes out). You keep mentioning it's performance ingame and compare it to historical data, which is a tad off. As you meet more ship's that was.... well not really in the battle was right? Then you decide on giving yourself the right to decide who can show what only because you happen to live in the country of origin? that's a bit childish no? (even though the've done more to the historical perseverance then you will ever do). What you are doing is claiming Historical accuracy in gameplay which they never did, only Historical accuracy when it comes to the ships on how it would look (hypotheticaly or real life through blueprints (which can be discussed). There is a big difference. Thats why Again i mention Simulator VS Arcade game. Arcade game will never represent how ultimatly the ship itself will perform, too preserve game balance and "fun", only the look as much as it can. in which Simulators aim to be as close as possible for how it would perform ingame to the parameters that we know how the ships acted in real life. I am simply mentioning it. take it however you want.

@Sunleader Are you serious or just trolling? What the Bismarck was is truly deserving to be named "legendary" but last time i checked Bismarck was not fighting against, North carolina's, Iowa's, Richelieu's, Jean bart's, Lexington's, Midway's, Roma's, Yamato's etc etc. You can't with a straight face come here and say that you know exactly how The Bismarck would fair against those opponents in real life. It's an Arcade Game they can only represent the look of the ship and that's it, everything else they can forgo for game balance, if you get triggered by an arcade game i suggest you stay away from those and just play with Simulated games. Taking something from a arcade game and think "oh this is how it would have worked in real life" is just childish. No the Bismarck is not the worst BB in the game it's on the OK level, it's not even a bad ship. (even recieved some buffs not to it's secondaries). Only because you were born in the same country as the one who built the ship, doesn't give you the right to decide who can show representation/Recreation of it. You did not serve on the ship, You did not build the ship, you were only born in the country of it. You should be happy that they are actually putting it up for more people to see so they can learn about it's interesting history. If you want Historically perfect representation, stay the hell away from arcade games and stick with simulations. If i were a German i would be happy that they are actually taking the time to put up the nation so people can take an interest in it. You atleast get representation, something that alot of countries might not get. Grow some skin.

#GrandNavalBattles Grand Naval Battles event thread (post your stuff here! instead of openening multiple threads)
Almightyfox replied to havaduck's topic in General Discussion
I think that this Grand event was a sort of step in the right direction (the thought of it), it was interesting to be able to have the choice of "rewards" as you do the quests to collect diamonds. Even though i find the Prizes a bit lackluster (not that i mind Free things mind you). It's just that 6 of the prizes are basically a no go (real life prizes) as the chance of actually winning is close to non-existant. the ship choice of only tier 2-3 is a bit boring, no new ships. (pretty much port slots if you don't happen to be a ship collector). Positive Note: I personally liked the option to get premium days and ports slots (though more then just 1 would be nice). My biggest gripe though is the grand reveal on the 12'th millionth diamond only to be 10 camouflage, not even premanent ones. you must realise that this is an even't that goes on for a month, 30 whole days (should atleast, you made the event). Ofcourse the players are going to expect something big or special, Especially if you add "it's a secret" to the mix. For the players that continuously play the game and play these kind of events, putting down the effory. It's honestly a big letdown. I myself feel like "why would i want to do these event's in the future". So in short the thought was in the right direction (except the ending) it's fun to do quests to then be able to choose your reward, But i would suggest that you might put on more interessting rewards, that would benefit the player more in the game. Like more port slots or premium, even possible gold, and if you are going to be sneaky with secrets, atleast have something rewarding. 10 non-permanent flag's for 1 month's effort is if anything "not-cool".
