I am generally not concerned by a Mino if I am not in a T8 CV. Unless he is low, he is not a great target though, so I will usually just spot him on the way to my actual target.

If that thing is in your way or close to your target, a strike will be too costly, so I actually avoid it.

Austin and T9/10 NL CA can actually be quite scary with AA skills and activated DefAA.

People who do not want to use any signals/camos on this can just do other missions instead, I guess? An unimportant reward for this one is a good thing then? If you blame WG for irrelevant stuff like this, you are actually just distracting people from the relevant issues.

Did you maybe just bid everything, thinking that you will get the excess back anyway? Just be warned that many people will do that and the lowest winning bid all have to pay in the end could go crazy high. Whatever you bid, you gotta be actually willing to pay.

If I take a look at the strongest ships at every tier, most of them are premiums/special ships. But many of them are also not available anymore.

I had some fun in Yukikaze - that thing is really cool in Bronze with few CVs and radars. But if you play CV, you can blast through Bronze really fast:

Well, yeah. Then again, you could have simply checked all the requirements before buying the starter pack. If something seems quite cheap, there is often a catch and you should be careful. Not just in this game.

Why not just play Enterprise?

You just want to play the ship itself? Yamato is the same but more accurate. You want the overall strongest T9 premium BB? It is probably this. The question is how much you are personally willing to pay, just to have the strongest pick. A good player can also win in Kearsarge or any other T9 premium BB. Jean Bart Black, which is also considered very strong, should be available again on Black Friday for a much cheaper price.

This whole discussion is dumb. You certainly do not have to be "rich" by any standard, so you can afford to win this silly auction. A lot of people with good enough jobs are playing this game. Students and people between jobs are out of luck - that's life.

There are all kinds of people, with or without money. A lot of rich people are actually the opposite of what you just described, especially if they grew up rich.
