    ... and Thunderer, Kurfürst, IFHE Yamato, IFHE Republique, IFHE Ohio, IFHE Kremlin (even though not all of them can have the range ofc). But yes it makes more sense to couple Moosashios with Indomitable (or Graf Zeppelin for plebs) and yes the CV has to be really stupid to die from that.

    What about gun power (range, ballistics, dpm, alpha, penetration, fire chance, improved AP angles, etc.) torpedo power (range, speed, concealment, alpha, targets, flooding chance, etc.) radar maneuverability and size You didn't even factor in the friggin repair party, when you were comparing HP.

    Unless you park 2 Minotaurs right next to that Stalin, Haku will be able to drop it easily though. An even bigger risk might be Midway torpedoes btw, and they are even harder to stop.
  7. 11 months is actually still quite slow. If you stack your boni correctly, you should only need 100-200 games, even if you're not a unicum player. But as you have pointed out already, special signals are not easy to obtain if you don't spend money.

    Thank you mate, but that is the "3 crowns" camo. I was actually wondering what the "normal" perma camo looks like. Maybe a bit like Friesland? Because if the normal camo looks better, I will rather buy that for Halland.

    These "traffic lights" are just a quality of life improvement, as you do not have to look at the waves to see if a ship is reversing etc.
  12. 1. What's so interesting is that Smaland has a radar combined with that gunpower. 2. That's the thing - you can just go full guns and the torps are still quite decent on Smaland.
  13. It's interesting that a lot of people seem to underestimate the guns, while they actually have more DPM than Harugumo. Sure they don't pen 30mm, but with regard to DDs, this thing doesn't fear anything but Mogador/Kleber with reload booster.

  16. You mean the ones that have a fixed penetration value of 30 now, just like Bayard? That is why you should not have quoted without the first part of my post.
  17. Since 130mm guns have not been stated to have a set penetration value of 21mm now, I believe the 1/6 rule will stay in place for them. And why should you suddenly round at first and then add the 25% ? It is not stated anywhere.

    That means stacking the 3x4 creates a tighter pattern than stacking the 2x5 on Gearing. This should be especially helpful with bow-in targets then.

    With regard to Somers, it has worse concealment, HP and DPM than Gearing with Legendary Upgrade, while having the same torpedo reload and just 2 more torps. So the only point I could see would be stacking the 3x4 torps in order to get a tighter spread compared to 2x5. Does anyone know if the gaps between Somers' 4 torps have the same size as the gaps between Gearing's 5 ?

    Salem has reduced service cost baked into the ship, but the credit income is much worse than on a T9 premium.
  24. 2 things were announced yesterday: AP rockets with citadel potential (WIP) A new TX CV that has a 25 second (!) delay between drops (WIP) So what could that mean ? It probably means that WG is aware of the frightening potential in AP rockets and wants to design them as a "high-noon" kind of weapon, where you only have a single drop and you can't screw it up (by the cruiser angling into it for example). Let's be real here: Current HE-rockets easily do 10k each drop to a cruiser regardless of the angle. And they can strike multiple times with a short delay (especially Enterprise with the great maneuverability). The testing is just starting - let's wait how WG tries to balance the AP rocket potential with the long inter-drop delay.

    While I do believe that CVs are quite broken in some ways (especially with regard to DDs), it's funny how nobody really pays attention to the BB class being incredibly overpowered and also the most common class in the game - that should actually be more terrifying. Maybe the difference is indeed that more people are playing the class, so they don't mind it being OP.
