Relax. The DD will see people at 14 km for the decisive part of the match (minutes 4.5 until 15.5). We will also have the air spotting for DDs cut into half by then. Can we just wait how that works out, before we rant like headless chicken? -
I hope the change to the camera angle on squadrons during attack will make it easier to see the reticle when there is a lot of Flak.

Why playing low tier is not attractive

Literally the worst advice you can give. Low tier AA is extremely useless and a waste of skill points (the latter currently actually applies to all AA). The only thing you can do is stick to friendly ships, which means that the enemy CV has a harder time to drop you multiple times in a row. It will still hurt you though... -
In something like 40 SCs, I had a lot of the usual stuff and 7x Coal (105.000) 6x Doubloons (6.000) 1x Steel (1.500) which I am happy with.

This right here is probably one of the biggest reasons why many people do not even bother playing this game mode. Taking down the fatties together in a low-tier-div or defending against the waves of lolibotes together in a high-tier div is what could make this mode interesting. If you cannot play it with friends, this gamemode is not interesting to me and many others. @MrConway @Crysantos WG has been desperate to make this new mode interesting with some recent ad-hoc adjustments. Maybe allowing divisions would be worth a shot - I am sure it can be balanced out (maybe even by giving the low tier team an additional division if it is such a problem).

If they don't allow divisions, this game mode will be dead soon. Or maybe they will have to force it into Randoms as something most people hate, like Epicenter. It only makes sense as a "party mode". And there is no party alone. -

The real question is: Why buy this if you have Kutuzov? Playing around with the AP could be interesting, but it is just so much worse for the usual HE-farming, which you will do most of the time...

Took Shokaku and wiped out an enemy team that was mostly consisting of DDs with my rockets (Enterprise would be even better for that). Base XP was still crap as the damage was to lower tiers ofc... -

The more broadsides you see, the stronger Slava would be, but Thunderer is certainly more versatile. For Ranked/CW I would personally consider Ohio and Kremlin for their staying power though... -

I said nothing about Slava and nothing about either of these being OP - what's going on in your head? If you want to know about Thunderer AP vs Slava AP: Thunderer can also snipe, but for the Thunderer it is more advantageous to get close than for Slava, because at long range you have great horizontal dispersion, but your vertical dispersion cannot compete with the Slava at long range you still have great penetration and decent ballistics, but Slava AP is just unreal and outmatches that by far at closer ranges your dispersion gets really tight, which allows you to punish angled cruisers very hard (you can even overmatch 30mm) at closer ranges you still have your 32mm nose to tank if needed you can heal citadel damage like a cruiser, which helps to mitigate AP bombs and you have DefAA which helps against noob CVs. Overall, Thunderer AP is especially better against angled cruisers and it is also much better the closer you get. Slava may seem OP because of what it can do at long range, but for that it suffers at closer ranges, which can keep you from having an impact doing BB-things. -

With Thunderer, just as with Bourgogne, there are mostly those who predominantly use the AP and just switch to HE when it's needed and those who mindlessly spam HE and just try to switch to AP occasionally. Of course this does not apply to everyone, but most players will stick to their primary ammo type. It's kind of sad that one of the most accurate BBs in the game, which has great AP penetration and overmatch, is mostly known as an HE-spammer (see no. 2 above). -

Yes and you brought your own upgraded Benson to Training Room, which obviously caused the bot to be upgraded as well (maybe you used the function to fill the teams symmetrically...). Sorry, but now you are going full re****, can't come with you on this path.

Maybe not the speed, but at least the amount of explosive. In this game though, it is simply based on the caliber. But that's the thing - it is a game, not a simulation. And to be frank, the OP struggles with the current mechanics already, yet he wants them to be more complicated...

The AP penetration is different for the 127mm guns we have in the game. What you are talking about is the HE penetration, which in this game works by a simple principle, based on the caliber, to make it accessible - don't forget that you have to memorize a lot of numbers already with the current HE mechanics...
