So how is it going? Are you getting your first premium in the marathon? -
While the buffed IFHE should definitely be better on the 100mm, you can still just use HE to start fires on BBs and shoot AP at DD broadsides. I use my Shima captain and don't want to drop the RPF. Works just fine in randoms, where DDs will mostly not angle against you.

Seriously, there needs to be an option to deactivate these new big water splashes in Sniper mode. In a DD Fight, you often cannot even see your target (DD). In Tanks this option is standard, because of dirt and other particle effects.

My problem is in a DD fight, where every salvo counts. Sometimes I cannot even see the other DD behind the splashes.

This is standard in Tanks, where dirt/particels can have the same effect.

If a Belfast in smoke doesn't use hydro, chances are he will not radar on spotting either. (Smoke+Hydro should always be ready at the same time IIRC) Edit: there is a little gap. -

Nah, Belfast has all the tools you need for solo. Ships like Atlanta profit way more, because they do not have their own smoke. This. Not a big problem though, just check LoS on minimap and look around yourself. But yeah, Perth is more comfortable with those planes. -
Even though I rarely play them, I will keep all 3. And when their time comes, and people cry for those ships again, I will play the occasional game to farm sweet tears.

Oh the drama. Just like the Stealth-Fire removal. This is the end. Guess what?! It is good for the game. Stealth-Fire meta was dumb and frustrating. Smoke+IFHE meta is dumb and frustrating. How to play a cruiser without smoke? Kite, use islands, support from the back. RN Cruisers? Will be balanced out, don't worry. I am not a BB player, btw.- 233 replies

Got Yamato and Missouri, so no thanks. I rather shoot accurate guns at T8-10 than inaccurate guns at T7-10.

Your target might be 10+km away, but any decent DD, noticing that, will close in on your smoke to spot you. And at 8km, you have no way of spotting him back (unlike Belfast). In my DDs, when I see a smoke and a last known position of a Kutuzov, I will get to that 8km mark in no-time and spot him with impunity. Btw, at safe distances like 15km I probably wouldn't even use the damn smoke and just kite.

Belfast will still be massively OP. But Kutuzov spotted in smoke at 8km sounds like a slightly better Mogami. Especially since she has no radar to counter it.

Not sure if I understand you correctly. The ships will not be sold anymore, so you cannot buy them back. While I believe that Kutuzov will come back (like König Albert), Belfast is so legendary that it could be the new Type 59.

Kutuzov will probably come back, but Belfast joining Nikolai and Kamikaze makes sense.

If you don't fight for caps at suicide range, the 9.2km should also be superior in Domination mode. At least in Z-52, I rather use my guns at hydro range anyway.

Yes he is. The fact, that Yamatos main strength is to do AP damage on angled ships, does not make the Conqueror balanced. -
Even Z-52 has the very same problem. You see high tier russian or USN cruisers approach your chosen cap? Simply abort and go elswhere.
