They should have extended the Primetime till 24:00. But the primetime itself is necessary, to get enough teams online and to get a real MM. And while I am sorry for CV mains, it felt way better without them dominating those small engagements. They could participate in all their other ships [and the rental ships] after all.

Even though I will not have time to play during the holidays, I find it nice for people who do have the time, to get some good content. Holidays are a bad time to play for some of us, but for others it should be the best time to play. Yes, it may suck to get into Ranked late, but with that many people, a compromise has to be made, simple as that. Having Ranked over the holidays, and long enough afterwards, is a good compromise for everyone.

Someone predicted that there will probably not be that many radars, because Chapa and NO are too map dependent. I am not a cruiser guy, so I can't really estimate that. If that is true, Loyang will become stronger, the lower you get. And below R5, Kidds DefAA should also become less powerful with fewer CVs. I will definitely start out with my Kidd. And if the Radars and CVs start to vanish, I will switch to Loyang.

Harekazes success also depends heavily on the population of Chapayevs and New Orleans in my opinion. The only safe bet is the Kidd for now.

While Harekaze has less HP, the concealment advantage is not to be underestimated. Remember Hatsu last season. And other than Hatsu, Harekaze even has nice guns/torps in addition.

WG will give you a chance to buy it, after you have been farmed by one.

Loyang or Kidd depends on the number of Chapayev/New Orleans. I am a simple man.

Kiev will not be competitive in ranked. It is just not versatile enough.

Z-23 Hydro is only 4.4km. Loyang Hydro is 5.4km. Sadly it will be the season of the premium DDs. #1 KIDD #2 Loyang (#1 if only few Chapayev/NO) #3 Harekaze (maybe Benson. But why not get a KIDD then)
