Oh man, your own CV must have been AFK. Those AP bombs suffer from unpredictable RNG btw. You never know how much damage you will get. Shokaku stacking fire+flood is much deadlier. And no, there is no test ship currently. It is the release version. -

Well, as a ship you try to stick with your teams AA. If he does drop you, keep your rudder neutral till the actual drop, and then try to steer into the large gaps in the Enterprise torpedo pattern. If you don't get a flooding on the first drop, keep your Damage control for the second. As a CV, I believe that a very good player will not be better in the Enterprise. The majority of players will simlpy profit immensely from the large hangar capacity. So the high average WR is no surprise. -

Haha, you are actually right about that. I am just tired of reading stuff like this over and over again though, while the game is getting dumber and less skill dependent, just like WoT. -

He is indeed entitled to voice his opinion, I never said he wasn't. Just like you are entitled to voice your opinion about ways of balancing CVs, even though you seem to have never played them yourself. I just said that his opinion doesn't seem right to me. Which I am just as entitled to, I guess... -

He literally stated that he is not good in CVs with just "a few games under his belt" (read OP). His solution: remove fighters My solution: play more games, get better And the DD comparison is a valid argument about skill gaps. Who is the one not able to discuss here? -

A better CV will not ALWAYS shut you down completely, unless you don't understand the very basics. DDs who don't understand the very basics will usually get killed off immediately in a 1v1, yes... -

Only DDs with DefAA (which Z-52 doesn't have btw) are a real threat to CVs. I think as a special trait for some DDs, instead of speedboost, it is just fine.

It is the oldest T7 in the game. WG has a policy of not individually nerfing premiums, which is actually great. The modifier only effects Ranked, which is unfortunate. But excluding Sims owners would be a bad choice either.

That is a possibility. WG stated in some QnA that each individual ship gets specific xp for specific actions. No idea if they stated anything about Sims in particular.

Yes, that is why I was hoping someone had done a (kind of) proper test. But people are just stating what they think they know for sure.
