    When I drive GC myself, I feel that it is just consistent and not OP. At low tiers you see mostly broadsides, so a consistent BB can feel stupidly strong, while it is actually just bad enemies. The HE firechance is way too good though... Tier-for-Tier higher than on Conqueror. But when I tried to hit a GC at range in my Hood (which doesn't have consistent gunnery), I realized what a super small target the GC is. That size combined with the crazy HE firechance makes GC crazy good in T7 MM and probably indeed OP.

    IIRC, the ships on the list are all already available in the techtree. Meaning that they will only remove a large part of the doubloon-ships.

    Only the western cap is a trap to be fair. And honestly, I am quite intrigued by that. Later in the game you will always know who is in there. So you can decide if you want to accept the challenge and step into the Arena!

    Chappy DPM is around 50% higher, on HE and AP. NO has the nice USN AP, so against cruisers it is still better. But yeah I am still not sure if a DD will give you those 30 sec to shoot him in NO.

    Wish you the best of luck. For me Chappy would be most interesting for dishing out a lot of shells in a short time frame btw, while that enemy DD is not yet running away.

    Both will be able to fire 3 salvos per radar, both have salvos around 25k HE dmg. NO can use 2/3 of its guns bow-in, while chappy has an easier time hitting its shots (more shells, higher velocity). Chappy has an easier time punishing stationary DDs in those 20 sec. Also chappy can stay further from the cap (radar range, shell velocity). NO can delete cruisers, Chappy can burn down BBs. You will have much more chances to burn down BBs than to delete cruisers, I believe.

    I think the Chappy will get stronger with worse level of play. -more DDs sitting in smoke like ducks -less counter fire from BBs -more cruiser broadsides

    From R13-R5 I was just sailing around in Alabama, punishing broadsides. Worked like a charm. Working my [edited]off in the Kidd/Loyang got me nothing, since the BBs would still suicide. Below R5 it was DD carry territory again, used Loyang exclusively. But if R5-R1 are the new R13-R5, BBs might work better now...

    As stated elsewhere, it is not a test ship. It is the release version. WG just pulled that release version for now, because it was released in a bad state. But people paid the full price and are allowed to play it. Just like they were allowed to bring a Strike Lexington before the rework. And btw, the chance to have him on your team is still 50/50, so over a number of games it is about your own skill only.

    I don't really need the Black for gameplay reasons. Fucked up multiple Blacks in my gunbuild Z-52. And my gunbuild Radar Yueyang is just unfair (can reach 340k DPM with AR). Yes, Black is T9, but it will mostly meet T10 anyway. And apart from that radar, it is still just a Fletcher with pathetic torpedoes. If I get it, it will just catch dust in my port.

    Missouri is really unique with its radar. Musashi will never be more than a downgraded Yamato. Also Missouri is crazy fun with its speed, concealment and accuracy. Not to mention catching cruisers in smoke pants down, when you radar. The Musashi HSF camo will be great for farming elite xp though, so your 19p cap would profit from that.

    I bet someone has said this already: In the past year they have done nothing but making Battleships easier to play for people who do not understand the basics of this game. (lowered/armored citadels, crazy HE shells etc.)

    USN cruises are not OP, they are balanced. They don't need to sacrifice something for their radar. The combination of Radar+Smoke should not exist, and it only does on Belfast+Black. As a DD main, I am of course often annoyed to have my plans crushed by an unexpected radar. But that is giving the game more depth and making it more exciting after all. As long as a DD is aware of possible radars, he should get out of those situations without dying immediately. If a DD sits in his smoke like a duck, and gets annihilated from close range, he needs to adapt and accept the challenge of becoming a better player. For RN cruisers radars are a bigger problem... TLDR: I never play m Kamikaze R, because it is dumb and super boring. High tiers are more difficult and dangerous, which is more exciting after all.

    I get messive hits or even devastating strikes on DDs in my Missouri quite often. With the current AP penetrations it is not that hard at 10km. And you usually know on what side your guns need to be. Rotation+rudder is quick enough to get them on target then.
