Has some1 tried to bring the Beercan to Ranked? I wonder if it will give you that extra second advantage, while your enemy is looking confused, trying to make sense of it...

Just so you know what you are getting. It is a nice camo for free, but the bonus is worse than that of the Musashi HSF camo, and that of the Yamato perma camo. Edit Some people obviously still don't understand this: The +100% ship XP will give you the same CommanderXP, that +50% shipXP and +50% commanderXP will give you. (shipXP counts as commander XP) So the Perma camo gives you everything that the HSF camo will give. Additionally you get +20% credits. Also the +100% shipXP are much better for containers, FreeXP and missions.

Just thought to myself, that soon we will not see that hideous Beercan anymore. Maybe I should strap it on my Roma, just for the lolz ...

Sorry, but you are doing it wrong. Added an explanation to the OP.

You still only get +100% commanderXP overall, while Musashi gets +150%. The Yamato perma camo makes more credits too, also +100% shipXP is better for containers, FreeXP, missions.

PSA: You dont need Yamato or HSF ships. 1. Click the button to "join" in the article. 2. Collect normal containers with normal ships. They will contain the collection items too. 3. ??? 4. Profit PSA: If you do use HSF ships, you can get the wins in Coop.

Oh man, I like my Roma. If it didn't have that Beercan, I would spend the 7k easily.

I will never pay money to get numbed by those annoying HSF voices... In fact, my Harekaze captain will sit in port forever.

Prinz Eugen has a similar camo available. How much is that?

Roma is also T8, but for your 7k doubloons, the Beercan camo gives you really nice Bonuses at least.

The thing is a floating citadel (even higher than Yamato). A good player will always at least have the chance to outplay it in a T8 or even T7 BB. The average guy should still do way better in the Musashi, than in that FDG he is matched up against...

It is almost half the ships price, which you had paid already. And you pay that, to even miss out on your FreeXP bonus.

You still have to use DCP on a flooding or multiple fires, like every BB. And any decent CV can bleed you out easily. Missouri can also "snipe" at range, but you still need to close the distance and you help your team. The problem that I see, is the damage potential against angled targets combined with your bow-in survivability. It is the reason why Yamato is still competitive as a TX, and the lower sigma doesn't effect it significantly enough for T9.

Saw @Negativvv in this Ranked video: That streamer guy should have died multiple times, but got extremely lucky. Nice teamplay, smoking him up btw. While he is right about the Loyang citadels below 4km, he made enough mistakes himself in the heat of the battle. It's just what happens when you are stressed.

Not quite. It used to have cruiser-like dispersion and bad sigma. Before release, they gave it BB dispersion and increased the sigma, to make it less punishing, but still consistent. And the AP consistency would not be a problem, if the ship didn't have a crazy firechance as well.

Problem with all those Kamikazes @T5 is the short torpedo reload, generating perma floods. Which is why my Giulio has RPF... GC has already become the new Kamikaze btw...

Do you know the balancing departments opinion on its performance? I was surprised to see it in the techtree and as a gift ship, since it could easily have been the new Nikolai with that HE firechance.

No, of course not. IJN get the -7% and USN get the - 11% module. My calculations @15km include the individual module each.

According to wowsft.com it has the Aiming Systems Mod 1, like the other IJN BBs.

From a competitive view, it actually is a better Yamato, since it will mostly see TX, but get matched against Iowa/Izumo/FDG/Lion. And since it is still one of the most accurate BBs in the game, it will outperform these easily in the TX environment. Regarding actual gameplay however, it will just feel like less accurate Yamato, still playing against TX most of the time...

And this is actually the only problem with the ship. If it had a normal firechance, 90% of players would suck in it. But no, WG had to make it a mini conqueror...

That Kobe guy is an "artist", so he will not let them change it just like that. Most potential buyers will not even know about that silly beercan anyway, until it is too late.

If we keep lacking CVs, this ship will overperform. Still one of the most accurate BBs in the game and Yamato guns + healthpool.

Have just been fooling around in my GC, and after 124 games with many T7 matches, it is sitting at 71.77%.

When they both got their accuracy modules installed, @15km Missouri has 168m dispersion and 1.9 sigma. Musashi has 144m dispersion and 1.8 sigma. While accuracy is not just dispersion and sigma, that still seems really good on the Musashi.
