Do you think these camo bonuses are appropriate for 4.000 doubloons ? You pay almost half the ships price again, and even miss out on your FreeXP bonus... @MrConway Edit: Lets see if we will be able to earn this from the upcoming collection. 4k is still quite high for the bonus trade-off...

Aren't there more 27mm cruisers @T8-T10? Will have to check on that.

The damage against cruisers is better than people make it up to be. I have had enough devastating strikes so far. All powerful BBs get lots of overpenetrations on cruisers, if they don't hit them correctly. Roma does get underwhelming salvos more often, but that is related to the accuracy and the missing overmatch. I think the great concealment is not intended to outspot and annihilate cruises, but to sneak up on BBs. Conqueror and Yamato are also very BBvBB oriented btw.

There seem to be many people who actually run a full AA spec on this. Of course you can get it to decent levels, but you are giving up far too much for that...

I would like that too. But it cannot be like the Cesare at T8. So maybe getting back the 1.9 sigma is all we can hope for. Or maybe they can buff the AA, once we get a CV rework. NC and Amagi are king there. You should really get an Alabama instead. Would make you much happier.

You are new to higher tiers. You simply do not understand yet, how valuable that concealment and armor are on the Roma. Very good players have tried to tell you already. Some day you will understand, that there has to be a tradeoff for these strengths. And if you just want to have nice guns instead, buy the Alabama.

The games you have played are a small sample size, yes. But you are judging the Roma from those games that you have played. And still in those Roma games, you actually hit more shells than in your Bismarck.

Your main gun hit rate in Bismarck is 27%. In Roma you have 32% so far. So you are hitting 18.5% more shots in your Roma. This is getting really ridiculous.

Sorry, but that is not how statistics work... I can only assume that you are sitting in the back, "sniping" with your Tirpitz/Roma. Neither of them are designed for that. Roma is meant for medium range and Tirpitz is actually a brawler. Grow some BBalls and get closer to the enemy. You will soon realize that the accuracy is far from "unplayable".

18.1 km range is not enough to make use of 11.2 km concealment? Also the accuracy is still fine. I am doing lots of good damage and citadels. You can simply not rely on it every salvo. But your concealment and armor mean that you don't have to... And even though you say it is "unplayable", you are doing better than in your Bismarck so far.

On some maps you can climb up and shoot HE into the engine roofs of heavy tanks. Have never had more fun in tanks. You can also ambush them lategame etc.

But T49 with HE is the biggest troll in the game. Also there is literally no skill cap on that thing, if you want HE penetrations.

Scorpion G is demanding good map knowledge and awareness, because you cannot just peek-a-boo. On city maps it is a pure support vehicle, which also requires experience. Playing the T49 with HE derp gun, can train you very well in these areas.

The range is not a problem at all. Especially with that concealment and armor. The great shell velocity and penetration can lead to overpens, but also enable you to get good damage on TX BBs at range, so that is also very nice overall. The only letdown is the combination of bad dispersion and mediocre sigma. If that is needed for the ship to be balanced, so be it. I am enjoying my Roma.

I really enjoy playing the Roma, so I got the camo while it is available. Still have more than enough gold from Halloween crates (so I also got it a lot cheaper in the end). The camo makes Roma earn credits/xp comparable to Musashi. I also wanted to have the famous Beercan for the lolz to be honest, but I didn't want to look at it every game. The option to turn it on/off is perfect for me. And yes, the other people can still enjoy the view. -
So Roma is OP and North Carolina is super bad ?

New ships always start with high WR, because only better players are interested and check their stats. Roma is also at 60% right now and people don't cry P2W there. (Even though my Roma stats after 25 games are surprisingly good...)

Well, of course something like Loyangs hydro buff is an intended cash grab and actually sucks. But only better players will be able to advance quickly in that, so if you are good, you can outrun the bad ones in Ranked. (Still the good Loyang players will give you a hard time in something like a Benson, which sucks.) -

#1 Maybe work on your anger towards "rich people", and try to look how you can improve as a player instead? So you can rank much faster than lesser players, and don't have to play with them? #2 People who pay for premium stuff are actually not "destroying the game", they are the ones keeping it running. -

Well, Roma is of course missing the finishing power on its guns, so it will never be top pick. But the survivability should be really good, because it is resistant to 152mm IFHE and has really tanky armor when angled. Could be nice for keeping the star...
