As expected... with new Ranked season #9 the "Asashio" is now available in "Premium Shop"...
__Helmut_Kohl__ replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Since T8 is only R11+ this season, Asashio will go great in the end. But below R5 such a ship cannot compete. -
PSA: Some nice deals in the premium shops right now

It is just the name. Got the doubloon compensation for the ships. -
You will probably not get a better answer than what I posted above. As I stated, it is not that simple.
-
You are not accurate enough there. By default every kind of auto-resupply is disabled. If you leave it by default, nothing will happen. If you enable "auto-resupply" manually, it can be expected that you read what it says about using ingame currency. A real "Opt-Out" scenario would require the auto-resupply to be activated by default, so you would have to become active to prevent it. But that is not the case.

These are just the very first posts. Not going to continue quoting.

It matters if we are talking about conscious decisions that have a legal effect. The question is exactly, what the user is declaring from an objective point of view.
-
The user doesn't know he only has 2 options in this case, so he cannot eliminate the possibility of a drop down menu. Also what is the damn down-pointing arrow supposed to mean other than that? People who don't pay enough attention to realize it, are still retarded. WGs questionable design philosophy doesn't change that. (Of course they make it less obvious by that, but it is still easy to find)
-
While I can see where you're coming from, I believe that it will clearly show as a button, once you hover your cursor over it. And one has to be really retarded not to do that, if he doesn't want to pay the doubloons. Anyway, when people enable the big "auto resupply" switch, they should take a few seconds to pay attention to that check box right next to it. The term "illegal" is not really fitting here. But one might ask himself if that ingame currency is actually representing a claim against WG. And if that entitlement has been extinguished legally effective by a conscious decision, or if it remains in existence. But like I said already, people should pay attention to that checkbox, when they enable the big auto-resupply switch (which is not enabled by default). Also one would have to check the agreements.

Oh that one. Yeah it looks like a saturated superstructure. You will not land all 16 shells on the torp tubes. Maybe both.
-
No, at 4km it is much more likely that he aimed right at the middle, exactly on that 21mm plate.
-
Boris, you should know about the 21mm armor strip in the middle of the Gearing hull by now. That will shatter Shimas 127mm of course. So aim at the nose, if you are very close to him.
-
The reason is the shallow water around the islands, which is realistic. Islands would have to have unnaturally sharp edges to prevent this, which might look silly. For gameplay reasons it would be better though.

I come from Tanks, where low tiers are chaotic crap. Got the Kamikaze R. It feels like spamming torpedoes every 40s at chaotic fools, in chaotic crapgames. Just like low tiers in WoT. Why the heck are people to crazy about it?

Best premium dd gunboat, and best dd gunboat line?
__Helmut_Kohl__ replied to thiextar's topic in General Discussion
Harekaze. While the other mentioned premium DDs (especially KIDD) are good picks too, Harekaze B-Hull (100mm guns) provides fantastic AP performance, superb firestarting capabilities, top concealment and nice torpedoes. Plus we will get T9+10 successors for the Akizuki soon, same captain. -
German BB accuracy will not get much better. Play USN or IJN instead. Also you should be careful, since you might get banned for posts like this.
-
Loyangs Hydro was actually buffed to its current range before last season. It used to be way more balanced before. Yeah Z-23 is bad and its Hydro is only really useful for torpedo protection.
-
If you want to be more successful in Ranked DDs, it is not that simple. Contesting and capping alone will usually not keep you a star below Rank 5. People are simply racking up too much damage. "Yoloing a BB" is very situational and should only be done if there is no alternative. The truth is that you need to play for the win, because it is too hard to always compete for the star in a DD at that level. The best approach is to always stay alive and counter the enemy DDs whenever you can. That means contesting caps, spotting torpedoes, killing off the enemy DD with your guns and torps. And if you see an enemy push building up, you need to relocate early.
-
That is simply not true. But how could you know, since you have not played DD in the one season where you made it lower than Rank 10. You haven't been able to do it yourself, which makes the title super silly.
-
Stopped reading right there. Moving on.
-
Why so arrogant? -Why do you think Gearing is used in KOTS and not Grozo, even though the smoke meta is gone? -Do you think a decent CV in Ranked will stay in your midrange-AA? -Why do you think that the torpedo range is not important with Moskvas around?

That makes no difference at TX. The torpedo range does.

Gearing AA is not much worse. And you get torpedoes that can actually outrange all those radars at TX. Grozo is fat too, so it will not eat less damage. At least Gearing has that 21mm armor zone, which can shatter DD HE shells.

"younger" in relation to Ships ofc. Since Tanks has faster gameplay that is more about reflexes. It just feels more aggressive.
-
That is not true. I have been playing WoT from the start, and it has always been way more toxic that Ships. That did not change. Every game people are still complaining about their "noob team" or attacking certain players on their team, which they find useless. Tanks simply has an aggressive nature, and a younger audience. You still feel it every game there. Also most of the toxic chat that you can find in Warships will be to players on the same team. Mostly because they are sitting at 20km etc...
-
I dearly hope you don't ruin the game, by removing the ability to chat with the other team, like they did on Tanks... Why play a Multiplayer game, if the other team is basically a silent bot-team...
