Yes, because - as I stated - you only ever played one high tier DD (Shimakaze). (Not even a single T9 one) You are the stats guy here - and a bad one.

Once you will have more expericence in high tier DDs, you will see how good these torpedoes actually are. Hitting cruisers would make the ship OP.

It is balanced. Every reasonable TX DD player will just stay at 6km and torpedo that smoke instead, trying to flush him out. The fact that there are also people who - at TX - still not learned how to engage hydro+smoke, doesn't make it unbalanced in my eyes.

You do realize that Yueyang is also a TierX ship? Compare Asashio and the other Tier8 DDs. It is basically a Kagero that has stronger-than-TX torps against BBs, and BBs only.

The torpedoes are too good for that. Compare them to Tier10 Yueyang torpedoes, considering that this ship also has a TRB. Asashio is a true specialist. I actually like that about her...

That would make Z-52 stupidly OP.

I have been told that even with Hydro up, it can be quite tricky to evade fast torpedoes in GK, so stacking the additional Vigilance should be useful. At least it will help a lot, once the Hydro is on cooldown, since GK is a huge torpedo magnet. And that JOAT will ofc help to bring the Hydro up again.

I have been waiting for that. #1 Early stats are always way better! #2 Even the biggest loser can make the ship somewhat work by just spamming those DW torps with the TRB. And since the enemy DDs will usually be too stupid to properly counter him, it will work in Randoms. Unlike a normal DD, which the usual potato simply cannot make work on average.

Would I like it to be a 1P ? Nope. Would that be a huge problem for me ? Defenitely not.

2/3/3 Haku was simply not able to stand up to Midway. 4/2/2 had poor strike potential, because the 3rd TB wave provides an exponential increase in actual damage output. The 3/3/2 is simply considered to be better overall than each of the previous setups. That is why it is called a buff, because it got better overall.

They did. Below R10 it is TX. And everything above R10 is silly chaos anyway.
