It's not the MM and it's not the upgoing multitasking needs.
The main reason is, this game is balanced for teamplay and that's the mistake, cause not even 10% of the players in random fights play their ship role.
And there is only one rule for everyone: stay alive as long as you can, hit the enemy as often you can.
And that has nothing to do with teamplay or the role of your ship.
In WoT this is still ok, cause it's faster and has more dynamic, but here it's a design mistake.
For Clan vs Clan this would be a very good game, even in the state as it is. But for random fights and this setting, it's no fun in high tiers.
But it's Beta. There's still hope
