Yesterday I and @Corvi, sailing USS Trump and USS FreedomTM respectively, bumbed into @BadGene616 in Shimakaze. He was on the wrong side, so after battle we had a 3-man division :P

I mainly mean; what kind of ships would have followed those N3's, South Dakota's and No. 13's? Ofc it's just pure speculation and pretty impossible to answer as all those 3 mentioned classes were just designs too. USA's industrial capacity was indeed overwhelming.

Would have been interesting to see what kind of monstorities navies would have built without Washington naval treaty. No 13 class would have been more powerful than any european BB at time.

Watching Big Order atm. Never had really high expectations after hearing all the sh*t, but still decided to give it a try as it's short, from Sakae Esuno (Mirai Nikki really hooked me up as it was one of the first series I saw) and has a good OP imo. Also I have a soft spot for crazy bitches a la Yuno and Shion so wanted see to how Rin is in that show. Nothing really mindblowing yet (4 episodes seen), I mean the plot itself hasn't really hooked me up so much but still, I'm having a laugh while watching. As I didn't really expect much from this series, I got already positively surprised. If I can find laugh and thus enjoyment from a series, I think it has then succeeded. So TLDRDDEFDef: may not be so great show but if I can have a laugh then I can rate it okay for myself. Heck I watched Rail Wars! back then. Why in f*ck am I still awake X____________X And seriously, these forums need integrated MP4 support. E: Finished and must say it wasn't that bad imho. I have seen the same base plotline already, but maybe that's why I kinda, in a way, enjoyed it. A bit rushed and fast feeling in the anime at least, but whatever. Some sort of Mirai Nikki feel could be seen, and not a wonder. Maybe the reason I didn't hate this series is that these kind of time travel, multiverse/spacebending and other deep sh*t + some lovestory plots just hit me :P Anyways, as sometimes the anime doesn't really serve the original work, wonder if it's the same here? Dunno. But if something the series did well and it's the OST. Was a joy to listen most of the time.

I either don't understand this "Kii is shorter" thing. As the RL designs of Amagi and Kii are almost the same by lenght.

Once you fire, your firing range becomes your surface detectiability range. So invisifire from open isn't possible anymore. (You can try to mimic it by sailing away while enemy chases you, so you can land your shells without having the enemy on gunrange and thus, not getting spotted. Though doing this you can't get the target lock on enemy, thus leading into worse accuracy.) Overall, we'd need a replay to be able to try to explain what happened, but the real, old style open water invisifire just doesn't exist anymore and it's not coming back.

It would be also illogical to use the old shells with modern dual 10cm + Bofors AA. But what do we know in the end, as no further data has been revealed.

Something that can't be really judged from RL design stats, as Kii would have been basically Amagi with better armor, retaining same speed and firepower, thus essentially just better overall. So some detail tweaking by WG will be done I guess.

Kii is a different thing, combination of Amagi and Tosa. She would have been the first true fast battleship of IJN.

I think she would play very well. Hnnnnnnnnggg. Drooool. WG found my weakness again; IJN BBs/BCs So is this confirmed to be premium? As I'd like to see Kii-class on alternative IJN BB branch as well. Thus it's a bit sad if WG uses the nameships as premiums.
