Damage Control Party Modification 1, is there any ship where this is a good option?
WolfGewehr replied to RAHJAILARI's topic in General Discussion
Oh. Didn't know that. As enlightened above, Lolson can resist fire very well thanks to her superheal. Personally I found out that my sole DCP mod. 1 is best used on Nelson, enhancing her survivability during the moment you disengage from too hot situations. Nelson is good to tank HE spam/fires, but slow and at times you may need to disengage (when you get too much focus) and then the longer uptime on damage control helps. Why it helps? When you try to disengage into concealment under HE spam while burning, you want to be sure you don't catch a surprise fire from a shell that was mid air while you used your DC. Thus you need to time the usage of your DC carefully and here the extra seconds help against shells that were still in air. It doesn't really need to be Nelson, but I just personally found it most useful on her for me, helping to disengage with this static, slower ship. I.e. for me this DCP mod is a tool to help to disengage. -

Just to clarify, contact Loran for SNUBS (SCRUB) recruitment. Gene is the supreme overlord, but appliciants should contact Loran firsthand.- 3,079 replies

-10 ºC and snowing Frost snow makes its own distinct noice when walking on it. Also a bit wet snow sounds in its own, recognisable way. Overall, we have many words for different kind of snows, so it's a bit hard to translate at times.- 3,079 replies

Musashi will cost 92... nope! 750k freePex !
WolfGewehr replied to PseudoMi's topic in General Discussion
One thing just came into mind (have seen it before somewhere here as well); given Musashi's total lack of AA, why not give her the historical turning radius (tactical diameter as called in the book) of 640m? Well, I don't really mind so much, but it would be funny to see even just in a training room how it would look ingame if she was given the real turning radius, which was historically superior in her size group. I wonder more why devs didn't give her the same gun sounds as Yama though. -

Start was bad, I thought it was lost already. Then part of our team (mainly me + Fiji + Maass/Akatsuki) did a nice comeback, as we cleaned up our side. At the same time our other flank had died and I wondered how much HP the enemy ships have left, feeling confident in my Missouri thinking maybe I can pull it off. Rest of the enemies pop up: full HP Bismarck + Missouri, half HP Scharnhorst + Roon and Akatsuki..................... How F*CKING much work one needs to do sometimes to carry? Jesus this really causes a headache. Should just switch to read a book instead of playing WoRaF-PWhnFIWTaD as I planned earlier this week.

Apparently the "new" v0.7.0 "Training Room" will not have operational BOTs (moving/firing)!
WolfGewehr replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
I can see your point, but to activate the current T-Room, you don't need any mods, just change the line <disableTrainingRoom>true</disableTrainingRoom> into <disableTrainingRoom>false</disableTrainingRoom> in Gamefolder/res/scripts_config (open with notepad) With instructions above it has always worked for me. -

WolfGewehr replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Overall I'm sceptical how this training room would improve the skills of the mass hordes, or how this benefits the playerbase in the end? The current T-Room is more flexible, thus better for training, and those who want to learn have found it already. With this patch T-Room will be easier to access for majority, but are they still interested in learning? Will it make them to want to train themselves more? Maybe the fact that now everyone can find a pop up telling that there is a T-Room avaible, will make more people to try it. My point just is that if one wanted to learn, he has already found the current T-Room, thus adding this worse T-Room for masses won't change much imho. -

WolfGewehr replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Great, with these limitations I think the current hidden training room is just better. You want to give as much freedom as possible for training, not limit it. Though I still miss the times when we had an option for 60 minute match in training room. -

It's too hard, like rocket science for most of the creatures sailing the oceans. I went for co-op too to get the "top 3 exp with PoY" thinking it would be easier than in randoms. Well, it became a fierce fight to win. Our both DDs, instead of capping just drove around the caps and islands trying to hunt some ships. Seriously, it's too hard to understand the objective of the game, and how to achieve that objective. I guess caps are lava, and thinking is for nolife tryharders. I'm thinking my mental well being, thus playing only a few battles a day anymore, priority being Chapa and Monarch dailies. Obviously, as you bought a special phone -

Will there be plot twists that leave the reader hanging on the edge, eager to see how the story goes on? No puns intended at all.
