Iirc, roughly saying the thing is that most of the noise at firing "escapes via muzzle", and as the turret is enclosed, most noise goes outside, thus the noise level inside the turret is relatively low. Correct me if I remember wrong, actually interested to know how it is for sure too.

It was mostly a joke for Lup3s as he knows how I derped. Otherwise my play was decent on that match, except the last moves. Firstly I pushed too deep, practically brawling with Kutuzov and Shima, in as agile ballerina as Musashi. Well I could have still managed that, but then I went derpherp potato.exe and tried to make U-turn, while knowing deep inside that it would never work, thus eating 3 torps which finished my tale. That's not what made me rant on TS though. Enemy Kutuzov played so bad with his smoke, smoking 6km from me. He would be spotted anyways thanks smokefiring mechanics, full broadside on at 6km. At that moment I thought "this gon b gud bleb", licking my lips. What I got was just overpens I guess I should have aimed so that the shells would dive like they were meant to do IRL. Thus I was joking/ranting on TS to not play Musashi like this

I guess I need to pull this thread back on surface with some storytime :P If something, AL collab managed to bring the salt into forums once more as predicted. I guess Off-Topic should be renamed into Place where the Weebs roam Finished reading the Watanagashi manga. While I know pretty much most of the details from Higurashi's story, it was still fun to read even from "plot pov", thinking from two perspectives; what a new to Higurashi world reader would know atm with the given information and at the same time bring to mind what is the actual truth behind the scenes shown in this question arc. Was also nice to make some remarks on addtional details you could understand thanks to having seen the anime first. Sad thing with these kind of stories is that once you have seen it, you can never really relive the feelings you had while watching/reading it for the first time as you know what will happen. No more "oh snap/holy sh*t" moments. As probably can be seen from my long time avatars, Higurashi is my favourite from the smallish list of animes I have seen, I just love that story. Not sure how many other fans here are, but I remember atleast Captain_LOZZFVVHGYTEGUEJH (but never remember what the end of your nick was ) to have the full manga collection from HnNKn. It's kinda funny, as from all the animes I have finished, Higurashi was the only one I really considered dropping. Gladly I didn't. I pretty much found Higurashi by bumbing into the first OP in YT, which hooked me on. Onikakushi was okay, the introduction to the story, enough splatter and horror, Watanagashi even better with Sonozaki's in action, Tatarigoroshi was kinda letdown after the previous one and finally, the last question arc, Himatsubushi was just boring on the first run. At this point I really thought about dropping the series. I decided to give one more chance, and Meakashi, the first answer arc, brought back the Sonozaki action, thus being a blast of an arc for me. Tsumihoroboshi was again a bit letdown after the powerful play of the sisters in previous arc, but the end of the arc and thus end of the first season woke the curiosity in me when Rika talked about the endless June. At that moment I was like "Hell yeah I want to see how this story goes and help Rika escape the fate to see the July she never saw". So, I pretty much started watching for the gore and horror, then fell in love with the story and characters. Reason why I liked Watanagashi/Meakashi the most was that they featured my favourite characters, Sonozaki's with the gore/horror elements. One reason for the letdown Tatarigoroshi/Tsumihoroboshi had for me was the fact the attention switched away from Mion/Shion to other characters. I pretty much just wanted to watch Sonozaki's go psycho around, before I got interested in the actual story behind the whole series. I guess I'll order the Tatarigoroshi manga soon. As if I didn't have enough books to read already Hmm, or should I continue my Higurashi VN adventure after 3,5 years pause and read Watanagashi now in VN form. Choises.
