Cleveland class was one of the most advanced light cruisers in WWII so it defenetly should be at tier 8 with more historical stats and it can be replace by Northampton class heavy cruiser.

To je presne ono o cem mluvim. DD jede na cap ostani ho musi kryt jinak je to mrtvola a zas naopak nemuzes jet s bitevni lodi nebo kriznikem uplne dopredu protoze te zas spotne nepratelsky torpedoborec kteryho nevidis atd. Proste vzdycky jde o spoluprace a ne ze sou nektery lode silnejsi nez druhy! Nehlede na to ze kazdy team ma na vyber ze stejnych lodi. MM neni uplne idealni, ale vetsinou to neni zadna tragedie. Vzdycky zalezi kdo sedi za tou klavesnici :-) -

Tak asi hrajes keden z malo s bitevni lodi v prvni linii:-) ja mam vetsinou zkusenost ze to bitevni lode ostrelujou z dalky a mezitim zacnou hebat torpedoborce nasledne krizniky a pak je cela bitvy v...:-) No ja myslim ze za vyhru je vic expu nez za prohru:-) za spot mozna ne, ale za kapovani a obranu vlajky je momentalne ranec zkusenosti! Ja si v prvni rade chci zahrat. nevadi mi kdyz prohraju kdyz se v ty bitve neco deje a vidi ze se ostani taky snazi. Nekdy je proste smula a prohrajeme, ale vetsinou je to tuposti hracu, sobeckost akolikrat i neohleduplnost ostatnich k teamovym kolegum. Jediny kde bych rek ze sou torpedoborce ted hodne OP je Shimakaze. Meli by mu trosku zvysit cas nabijeni. Preci jenom kazdych cca 90-100s 15 torped je uz [Editováno]! -

Tragedi v bitevnich lodich se zas ozvali:-) kdyby ste hrali teamove a nepluly furt jednim smerem jak vemena tak vas zadny torpeda nedostanou. Zkuste si nekdy s torpedoborcem zahrat jak vam to pujde pak sudte! -

Ano to je presne ono:-) kdyby lidi trosku vic premysleli jak svoji tridu lodi hrat a brali ohled na team a snazili se spolupracovat tak by to bylo o necem jinym. Je jedno kolik kdo a jakych lodi ma. Vzdycky existuje moznost jak si poradit. Nejlepsi je ze si vzdycky nejvic stezuji podprumerni hraci! Ted si stezuji ze sou torpedoborce OP predtim si zas jini stezovali ze jsou bitevni lode OP este predtim byly letadlovky. je to furt dokola. Je to teamova hra a podle toho by to melo vypadat! Kdyby bitevni lode furt neutikaly, krizniky je chranily pred torpedoborci a letadly, torpedoborci a letadlovy lode delaly pruzkum tak by to bylo idealni. Jestli nekdo furt pluje rovne svym vytouzenym smerem a divy se ze se pak nemuze vyhnout torpedum tak to je jeho smula. nehlede na to ze kdyz sou ve vzduchu letadla muzou torpeda spotnout davno. Krizniky nebo tropedoborce predsunuty pred bitevni lode je muzou taky spotnout a pritom se jim i efektivne vyhnout. Tak co se komu furt nelibi? Kdyby ste nebyli liny a trochu se zajimaly a ucili se co jak a proc se ma delat tak by sme asi uz v raji:-D -
Generale player performance telling nothing about ship quality:-) and the Atago was one of the first premiums so every noob got it:-) and from patch 0.5.1 Atago have got better rudder shift time and repair ability. I didnt played Hipper or Kutuzov but they didnt feel better to me.

Tone will be hard to implement? Thats sad news for me:-/ if you are looking for IJN premium Atago is more than reliable! Maybe its best tier 8 cruiser now! I dont konow whats the problem to lower cooldown for planes for certain ships if Germens got their hydroacustic search. There is many ways how to balance those ships. Concealment and consumables like meant Kazomir. agono or Oyodo can be good destroyer hunters with good guns and good concealment:-)

Every of those ships have his own. I like every one of them. From tier 6 to tier 10 and Zao is still the king of cruisers! Still Myoko is the best because meets lower tier opponents. Mogami has less favorabile place cause meet too many high tier BBs thats the bigest diffrence. Myoko got better range and RoF then Mogami but slower turrets, worse concealment and torpedos launchers.

Im started playing Mogami again but with 203mm cause 155m do little damage. Even you havent Captain skill concealment expert you have surface detectin with module and camo 10.5km. I play it like support and DD hunter. You can shot on BBs which has another target but when turn his turrets on you stop fire and dodge. He will loose you from sight shortly after you stop firing its around 16-20s if he is going straight to you you can send torpedos against him. Beware of DDs or planes if they spoting you you cant use this tactic. Try dodging and find some island for cover. If you see unaware cruisers going straight line broadside try close distance and before he spot you hit him with AP shells and angel your armor always.

Hi there is my experience with cruisers. Im playing mostly IJN. I tested USN in close beta and German on test server. USN best against other cruisers + most agile + from Tier 7 great AP penetration + best AA + reliable armor if angled properly + Des Moines rate of fire - no torps - firing arc at longer ranges IJN can deal every opponent + speed + HE shells + concealment + torpedos 10km range + reliable armor when agled but easy to citadel when flat broadside + Zao best cruiser guns + good gun range except Mogami - AA - torpedo firing arc - turret traverse - rate of fire German long range snipers + firing range + AP damage + shells velocity + good torpedos firing arcs + sonar + good AA + turret traverse + rate of fire - armor - rudder shift time - HE shells - torpedos have only 6km range- 12 replies

Je to hezka idea, ale kdyz tam sou bitevni lode tak se ty torpedoborce dost tezko lovej :-) jak se ocitnes s kriznikem pred bitevkou tak moc dlouho nevydrzis:-)

I played few battels with 155mm guns and damage to BBs is terrible. Starting fires wasnt too often. 203mm guns HE hitting much harder but the range is unsufficient at tier 8!

I have more appropriate question...when will be available? I didnt saw any gameplay! WG doesnt know how to deal with this ship:-) I desperately looking forward to get it:-) http://thearmoredpatrol.com/2015/10/02/bylskawika-khabarovsk-admiral-hipper-yorck-konigsberg-tone-imperator-nikolai-i-gun-stats/ in that post are firing arcs of the guns. All four turrets can firing around 35 degree from ship axis tahts not that bad when you notify forward citadel armor is 175mm and magazine armor is 145mm and main belt armor 100mm. Its seem you should firing all guns and expose your side only in sharp angle and for short time. I think it will by fun ship to play:-)

Im not playing CVs but Im agree with you. Even the game suffer for that restriction. Class synergy is broken. BBs lost their natural enemy and USN cruisers lost their meaning. Only fact thats is problematic when one side has CV is that DDs of opposite team cant stay in stealth and are constantly spoted by planes :-/ thats my opinion.

This change wont have strong impact into the gameplay. Ships T8 and higher can mount 2kk upgrade modul which will be useful now cause provide +20 acquisition range for torps and you always can spend 3 points to captain skill. Btw good players are always prevent torpedo attacks which exclude me:-D -
Sonar has only 3,5km range. Only German cruisers has 4,5km I think but Im not using it anyway. This is probably diffrent story. Smoke cant cover you when going more then 1/4 of speed!!!! Learn game mehanics! Thats it:-)

When you press alt you see aiming distance and shell travel time...lol...is exactly same as Aoba! As all IJN cruisers from tier 5 to 9.

Myoko is best in my opinion for its tier till you get Zao! You are not facing to much high tier BBs like Mogami or Atago and you ve got good range. Turret travere speed is only weakness of the ship! All cruisers are easy to citadeled while show broadside. Shell speed is identical from Furutaka to Ibuki so the penetrating power. Aoba feels better cause low tier oponents.

Highest Tiers cruisers so much less maneuverable than some battleships?

Yes I understand that depends on dimension, speed and mass of the ship, but for exemple dont understand why Ibuki got worese turning radius then Mogami if the ships dimensin is same! Ibuki was improved Mogami class! Identical dimension of hull. Maybe armor layout was improved at triple torp launcer were replaced by quad. They can change every detail to balance game without worring of real facts!!!! So arguments about...is useless! -
Zao losing 4k HP isnt too much problem...but this ship is huge like BB and got the worst turning radius. What does it mean? Easy target! And it didnt make sence when much larger ship got same HP pool as all previous IJN CA! Under úerformence of other CA isnt Zao but overperforming BBs that are lost their natural enemies CVs and DDs torps are easy to avoid! I hope next patch will solve that issue.

Tak RoF ma horsi 16s Atago 15s Mogami. Reakce na kormidlo a polomer zatacky ma lepsi Mogami. Vysec torped je fajn, ale ze by to nejak zlepsilo pouzitelnost torped to se rict neda. Mogami ma lepsi rozlozeni dela. Je fakt ze oprava Atago katapultovala hodne nahoru. To je opravdu vyhoda!

I didnt notice any problem to penetrate citadel. Today I ve got nice 3 hits to Mogami from around 12km and all were citadels:-) sometimes it feels I cant penetrate but thats RNG. Sometimes you may aim well but RNG give you wide spread and you hit nothing but of course is my mistake:-)
