I was of similar mindset as OP when I first started playing the game. I switched from WoT to WOWS, and had my arse handed to me regularly. I couldn't hit an elephant from point blank while I was getting devastated from 10, 12, 15km range easily. I shouted "hax" "cheats", there was no other explanation in my head why every else is that much better than me. I just kept on playing, i didn't give up and with time and experience my gameplay improved. Point is, take it easy and slowly. Just because you were good player in WoT doesn't mean you'll be good in WoWs from the get go, it takes time and effort to adjust and learn how to play.

I have same basic build as you 1. PT 2. EM + AR 3. SI + DE 4. CE And I've experimented with last 4 points and decided to go with: preventive maintenance + vigilance. I also tried IFHE but found it to be too situational, it wasn't worth spending 4 points. Other useful thing might be AFT as, well at least I tend to spend a lot of time kiting alone in open water, so I'm an easy target for a CV but they are so rare I've decided to go with preventive main. and vigilance.

Haven't kept any. My silver ships are all tier X, anything below tier X is a premium (at least two for each tier)

I'm just saying, IFHE is highly situational and when It comes to cpt perks I go with ones that I'll use 99% of the games rather than ones I'll use 25% of the games. Free cpt respec is available till 31.8., so you can try both setups and decide on your own.

I've got no issues with Henry, Since I've unlocked it and bought, it's my best performing ship. It's a ship that heavily rewards actively switching between HE and AP shells. IFHE is situational and not worth spending 4 cpt points on it.

Successfully juggling job, wife, kids, hobbies and have time to play an odd game or two... well done man

Save your Free xp and wait for Jean bart/alaska release. We still don't know for sure if Wg will sell them for coal, free xp or give as a reward ship.

Of course. I'm sure most of us are more than willing to help a player out if he wants to improve. But argo Is getting advises and tips and pointers and still refuses to listen. Because of advises like this we get BB players with Survivablity expert. Pls stop!

A bit of patience is also not too much to ask. Specially concerning we had free cpt respec at the start and end of both previous session, don't see why wouldn't we get one in this season as well.

I liked the idea of alpha and bravo team when they announced it, but seeing it in action, it was implemented rather poorly. Considering it was only first season with alpha and bravo teams, i'm sure (hopeful?) they'll make it better for the next one. I don't like the idea of limiting ship, I like seeing and fighting against all sort of crazy and/or challenging ship setups, but I am dreading what will happen once Stalingrad comes. But I agree there should be more maps in rotation. Otherwise, it was a fun season of CBs, as usual. Can't wait for the next one as clan battles is probably the only thing keeping me playing this game atm
