It costs me nothing to keep posting here. I'm enjoying seeing SubO exposed as a liar that he is, promising fix in patch 0.8.3, while we are at patch 0.8.5 and no fix in sight. This is a nice reminder to everyone that WG will promise anything just to get us off their backs. -
It's a thing that can't be solved with AA rework/buff/change. CV Spotting is still a problem and DD still suffer.

I apologize, it's hard to understand what you are trying to say. That every ship (cruiser) is a AA monster and hard to strike after the patch? I'm not a CV main, not by a long shot but i did try CVs today after the rework and I was still doing 100+k games in midway. I could still do dmg and a better player than me could do even more I'm sure. But i had to be really careful when flying near to AA ships like des or mino. As it should be. And blobs of ships were a definitively no fly zone.

Like I said before, if a ship is not a dedicated AA monster I'm fine with being a CV pinata. I acknowledge it's (AA) not the ships main strength or one of the strengths. Oh so a carrier gets punished now if mistake is made. Go figure. I won't debate which modules and which skills one should take, different players play differently. And not everyone build optimally or for competitive games. But if a player invest all his modules, perks, skills, whatever into AA he or she should be rewarded for it.

Is it better or worse, hard to tell. I would say it's different. All community wanted...well... all I wanted when it came to CVs is to be rewarded for fully AA speccing my ship. If I invested credits into modules and points into captain skills that boosted my AA I should be a damn no fly zone, right? Or at least make CV player think twice before attacking me. That wasn't the case before, but it is now (at least closer than before). I still can be sh*t on if I'm in a poorly AA specced ship, and that is fine. I have no gripes with that. I can hear CV players saying: "but it's not fair that there are ships that are no fly zone" guess what. If I made my ship that way that means I sacrificed stealth or mobility or DPM or something else. And just cos a CV can't punish me doesn't mean someone else won't.

Why is it sooo satisfying to read this AA finally feels like it's doing something. My fully specced AA ships are finally shooting down planes. CVs finally can't fly over Des Moins like it's not there. In other hand when you say you get deplaned I think you are exaggerating. Sure you can get deplaned (well actually you can't, ever, but nevermind) but if you are careful and pick your targets you can still sh*t on majority ships out there. And you can still sh*t on all DDs. You still spot entire map and have total map control, you still deny areas and make life for a DD a nightmare. As a CV you still have a major impact but now, you need to play carefully and you can get punished for your mistakes as it should be. From day one of this rework.

You sure about that? I wouldn't say just stoopid. There's a ton of people each playing for their own reasons. Some are kids, some are disabled, some are plain re*arded, some don't know game mechanics, some just want to yolo, some play too careful..etc..etc... Most of us forget that. that includes me

I wish people down voting me actually write why? What is their take on recent changes. @wot_2016_gunner @wielorybwacek Cos if you ask me CV gameplay actually feels right: Strong AA ships take down planes, weak AA ships are still vulnerable, DDs are still f**ked.. ... It's just you can't fly 3 times over des moins without losing a single plane. As it fu**king should be. Ships and classes are (should be) balanced for ALL players not just 2 out of 24 in a match.

Pains me to say it, but it seems WG managed to do good job with AA change. As a CV you can still sh*t on isolated targets, targets with weak AA. You can get those 100k+ dmg numbers but dedicated AA ships or blobs of ships will absolutely devastate your squadron and you need to be careful. It's still early days but, dmg wise, it feels much better. Now let CV only spot on the map and we are golden

Indeed, using coupon on coal ships seems like a waste considering how easy it is to obtain coal.

Same here. CVs in clan battles will be the last straw for me. Everything else is already ruined or about to be.

Why are you guys fooling yourself.... they (WG) can't make some of the combat ships work, they can't make entire class (CV) work, they can't even make a client that works, or training room that works.... and by pure magic they will make subs work...

Literally everything that @T0byJug wrote +1 Subs were predominately used to sink convoys and merchant ships or combat ships in route towards some other destination. In PvP game: please WG, don't add them. In PvE: Most definitively, Could be fun. I would like some convoy operations.

My personal opinion is that proper communication is key in all team based games. That being said I consider clan battles to be only proper team game in WOWS. Everything else might as well be "free for all" and often it is, considering majority of player base fails to grasp simplest game mechanics. You are fighting enemy team and correcting your own team mistakes at the same time, you are fighting 23 other players. Ranked is just randoms but will less players. -

Only second coffee on my end, probably didn't have to quote you there. It was just a general comment on how skill plays small role in ranking out. Sure, it will help you rank out faster but at the end of the day both players: the one with unicum stats that played 70 ranked games and potato player that played 600 games have "rank 1" next to their name. -

At the end of the day both, i don't know, Flamu and Milan_G have rank 1 next to their name. And if there was no way of checking their stats and how many games it took them you would probably come to the conclusion they are equally good and skilled players. Which we know they aren't.
