Smoke and/or sticking close to AA ships helps. Also pay attention to map, does CV prefer one side more than other? Change sides than. A bit of awareness will somewhat help you counter CVs. Complaining about radar is nonsensical. You can easily identify radar ships, spot them on the map, play around them, bait them and with delayed rendering for the rest of enemy ships, it's easier to escape without loosing too much HP. Going back to tier 5, are you really looking for "serious" battles or just "easier" battles?

You are taking low tier mentality and trying to apply it in high tiers, It won't work. And as long as you stubbornly stick to it, you won't improve as a player.

Looking at high tier coal ships, you really can't go wrong whichever ship you pick (unless you take smolensk, than you are just a cu*t). All of them are strong and fun to play. You just need to pick which suits/complements your play style the best.

Players come and go, play the game than lose interest. Can't count how many games I've stopped playing so far, Games I've invested much more time, money and effort than in wows. And not a single time have I announced to the world that i quit. Like it's some crucial life event that i need others to know about. FR DDs are fun to play in randoms but I would never take it in competitive. And that is perfectly fine. Like Friesland, not all ships have to be highly competitive to be considered good. Sometimes it's fine to be a "fun little ship that you take for a spin from time to time".

Other ship classes can be countered in one way or another, CVs can't. So while I don't think its ok to bully someone in chat I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be to be focused down entire match by CV without the ability to do anything against it. I've used some strong words against CV players in the past, certainly not proud of it. It's just built up frustration as CV uses me as a free dmg pinata.

Well you can get Ohio if you are a CC or a super tester I suppose.
