Even if radar and heal is in same slot (same key) and nothing else I would call it a step forward. Funny how most of the things community is asking for years now is not a priority for developers. When in fact QoL stuff requested by community should be a top priority, well at least for a company that cares about its players. Thank god research bureau was a top priority, right?

You are right, haven't completely thought it thru. Still I would very much like to see option to voluntary choose which slot I'll put my consumables in. WOT has the same option so it can't be that hard to implement it, can it?

ummm.. what? If you got 5 slots for consumables labeled R -T -Y -U -I and game allows you to put different consumables in whichever slot you want (like in world of tanks). You would always have dmg con on R for example, heal on T for example, etc.. etc...

Has anyone else had issues opening WG surveys that pop up ingame? For some months now (since end of summer) I can't open a survey that pops up ingame. I click the link, game minimizes and nothing happens. Not that WG cares about our opinion, i know. But i was just wondering is it just me and some issue with my PC or someone else experienced it as well?

Most of the vocal players on the forums are long time veterans, players that played 10k or more matches, players that invested a lot of time and money into this game. Their "hostile" attitude towards WG is cos they care and have passion towards the game they are playing probably since day one. And the actions of WG in the past year or so made them feel, I'm guessing, very much disappointed with the direction wows is heading to. While you in other hand play a game or two every other week. Not saying there is anything wrong with that, it's just, I understand why you don't see anything wrong with smolensk or PR grind for example.

What was the survey about?

I can name two companies that have highly dedicated communities, make great games and which listen to their player base: Frontier, creators of Elite dangerous and Respawn entertainment, creators of Titanfall and Apex legends (also new SW games) Dunno about breaking promises, I'm guessing they did it at one point. maybe, maybe not. But one thing is for sure, devs from those companies regularly visit forums/reddit and listen to what players have to say. And I can assure you their responses are not: "just dodge" or "my spreadsheet says you are having fun".

Yeah one pop up today and I clicked it as soon as i saw it. But no luck. And I wouldn't open a topic if it was a one time occurrence. but I'm having an issue opening them since august or so. Weird.

Sorry, I just can't agree with you. I think OP is on to something when he say Henrys strongest defensive tool is it's speed and maneuverability, and that shouldn't be touched.

What kind of lazy half arsed balancing is it, when you nerf best option for clan battle to the ground and force players to use next best thing. I don't think it's fair to balance ships based on a game mode that is active for 30 days every 3 months. Players always used best ship that suited their needs for competitive play. Does that mean Henry is better than Hindy in close combat? Henry is better than zao in sneaking up on DDs?

Cos WG is not known for subtle changes. I panic every time i see a devblog which contains nerfs/buffs. Without even reading what those nerfs/buffs are and to which ships.

Thx for the short reviews @almitov Much appreciated. I already got thunderer and it's amazing. When it comes to Ohio/Georgia dilemma. I don't have either but Tier for tier, Georgia looks more fun to play. Thing is, there's a lot of mixed opinions out there. Some people call it strong, borderline OP. Other say it's garbage. When it comes to Colbert. I realize its a HE spamming cancer but it looks more balanced than Smolensk. It doesn't have smoke so it has to island hug a lot. Or wiggle it's tail in the open. And it doesn't have torps so it can be pushed easily. I guess scoring good games in it feel much more rewarding than in smolensk. Only thing that worries me is atrocious shell flight time. Even worst than USN CA/CLs. Hitting targets at 16km must be a fooking nightmare.

From that list I've got Krasny Krim, Genova, Huanghe, PEF and Gorizia and all were dropped in some random crate or were part of a campaign which had a ship as a reward for completion. And I don't look gifted horse in the mouth. Hunghe is fun to play, same as PEF.

Tier for tier I would rather get Georgia than Ohio to be honest. I'll think about it but seeing there are not many options I might as well get Colbert. Who knows when will next RB ship be added.

pinging @MacArthur92 What's your take on Colbert after some time has passed? I see you play it more than Smolensk. Got some RP saved up, Ohio is not an option since I got Thunderer so I was thinking on getting Colbert.

You need to play more games , it's too early to tell. Also, @hellhound666 made a good point, don't play massa. You still have a lot to learn before jumping into tier8. Don't skip tiers. Be patient.

OP I'm afraid that you getting blaped "before you can blink" or eating 6 torps "out of nowhere" has nothing to do with matchmaking. Instead of pointing finger at others (players, devs, MM, etc) try working on your game knowledge, map awareness and positioning.
