This is my fastest R1 so far. Also, this season wasn't nearly as stressful as my other seasons. I took time off after every 2 losses in a row and I didn't get involved in toxic chat mssgs (also first season I haven't got chat banned , hope MrConway is proud of me) and It worked. Stress level was all time low and I actually enjoyed playing ranked, would you believe it.

I really don't mind. It can be transformers, pepa pig, my little pony, Disney princes, literally whatever. As long as it brings more players to the game, players that are willing to financially support it and as long as I can disable those camos in port.

I'm sad non of the WG staff found the time, will or my questions interesting enough to answer. Here is another batch of questions, maybe I'll be more lucky this time. 1. I'm wondering, 33% drop in player numbers is something you guys anticipated or did it caught you by surprise? 2. Ship pick chart looks interesting as well, almost identical to previous season just at different tier. I was wondering, wasn't this season supposed to be "fresh" or "bring something new"? Cos it doesn't feel like it. Any comment on that? 3. When will you start listening to more experienced players, guys that play competitive at top level season after season, on what to actually do with competitive game modes in this game cos you clearly don't know what you are doing over there.

Maybe not flags but what about camos? Mechanic is the same, "resupply using in game currency if unavailable" This time currency being credits instead of doubloons I don't see which part is confusing. Not wanna offend anyone but it only requires reading and a bit of common sense.

Don't torp from back lines be it second, third or 36th. Not only do you risk of torping your friendlies, but you are also denying them maneuverability space and exit routs. Community is what it is, but responses are hardly toxic about this subject, which is really not open for debate. -
Ok, so.... This "enable" thingy: will automatically resupply your flags after each match. As long as you got them in your inventory or you can afford to buy them, if you enable this, you'll start the match with same flags you had match before. But if you untick this: It means you will start a match with same flags as the match before that one, BUT(!!) if you run out of the flags, the game WON'T(!!) automatically buy them and equip them. (In this example, after I spend 3 papa papa flags, game won't automatically spend 8 doubloons to refill it. After 3 games I'll enter the match with zulu hotel flags as I got plenty of those, but without papa papa flags) Resupplying with in game currency is whatever it is written here: I hope it makes things clearer now.

Don't really see the appeal or the point of it. Maybe an operation, some scenario battle, but TDM with nothing but bots on both side.. hard pass. -
Not as vague as you think, it just requires a bit of reading. Currency is whatever it say on the cost label. It can be credits, free xp, doubloons, coal, steel, etc...

From what I'm hearing and reading, even players that have special/reward tanks that are now banned are happy cos it levels (sort of) playing field. And I bet you guys that don't have those OP reward tanks are certainly happy. Ranked is supposed to be a competitive mode, a test of skills, not how deep your pocket is or how much time you have on your hands to grind some reward ship. Besides why are you asking us how the community took this change, aren't you working for the same company (even tho it's two different games). Ask your colleagues.

It has been explained. It's hard to put exact value to "damage received" counter. I had games in DesM where I received 0 potential or "tank" dmg but inflicted 100k or more in return. Some would say I'm an island camping noob, I call that proper positioning. Why should I receive less XP, cos I "tanked" 0 dmg but lasted till the end of the match, than a suicidal GK that scored 100k dmg, "tanked" let's say 2M, but died in first 5 min?

Shipcomrade was already on the brink of closing down. It's not a huge problem but it's a pain in the arse and unnecessary restriction.

A lot of stuff goes under "tanking" label. One can sail his 100k HP BB into an enemy fleet, rake up 2M potential in a heartbeat, die in first minutes of the game, still wouldn't consider it "well played move". Spotting in other hand, you can't "fake" that.

Watched it the other night, solid entertainment for an hour or so (It felt rather short or maybe it's cos of the non stop action). Anyway, it was good fun and I recommend it if you get the chance to watch it. Nice touch of mentioning USS kidd, ship the movie is filmed on.
