  1. Ich bin schon länger auf dem Discord angemeldet und werde da wohl jetzt öfter reinschauen, aber glaube nicht, dass ich sehr aktiv sein werde. Bei dem neuen Forum werde ich mich auch noch anmelden, aber auch dort sicher nicht so aktiv sein wie jetzt hier.

     

    Schon im März habe ich einen harten Schnitt gemacht was meine Spielzeit in WoWS angeht, vorher habe ich jeden Tag alle Daily Missions absolviert und alles was es an Specials, Events, Werften, ... gab mitgenommen, seit März spiele ich in der Regel nur noch ein oder zwei schnelle Coop-Spiele für den ersten Tagescontainer und Specials etc gehen mir am Allerwertesten vorbei, so dass ich im Moment mehr Zeit im Forum verbringe als ingame.

     

    Und das Schließen des offiziellen Forums wird nun wohl der Anlass sein, auch meinen Aufwand auf dieser Seite erheblich zu reduzieren (und vermutlich über kurz oder lang dann WoWS ganz den Rücken zu kehren) :Smile_honoring:

Zwar kann man mit einem WG-Account nicht über Steam spielen (jedenfalls soweit ich weiß), allerdings ist ein gewisses Verlinken schon möglich, so dass man die 'DLCs' auf Steam für 'normale' WG-Accounts nutzen kann (wobei ich bis jetzt nur kostenlosen DLCs getestet habe). Im Moment gibt es zum Beipsiel die Ning Hai (bzw. 1.500 Dublonen als Kompensation, wenn man das Schiff schon hat)

    - Dazu muss man in Steam WoT Blitz herunterladen, installieren und (natürlich eingeloggt im Steam-Launcher mit seinem Steam-Account) starten

    - In WoT Blitz muss man dann 3 Spiele absolvieren, bevor man in die Garage kommen kann

    - In der Garage kann man in den Settings die Verlinkung mit Steam aktivieren (wobei ich im Gegensatz zu der Beschreibung vorher noch ein paar 'normale' Spiele machen musste, bevor die Buttons im Social Media-Bereich aktiv wurden)

    Trade-In - Closed test 12.7

    A detailed look at a new way of acquiring ships in the Armory.

     

    What is a Trade-In?

    For the first two weeks of Update12.7, a special tab will be available in the Armory where you can exchange certain Tier V-X premium and special ships for a significant discount on the purchase of other premium and special ships with doubloons. 

    How it works

    1. In the "Ship to Trade" section under the Armory's "Trade-in" tab, you select one of the premium or special ships that you own.
    2. In the "Ship to Get" section, you select the new ship you want.
    3. A part of the value of your existing ship will be used as a discount to purchase a new one: After selecting both ships, you will see the exact applicable discount along with the amount of doubloons you need to pay to purchase the new ship.

    Example:

    Ship A is worth 12,200 doubloons. You want to get ship B worth 12,000 doubloons. The trade-in discount for exchanging Ship A is 6,100 doubloons. Thus, to get Ship B, you need to pay only 5,900 doubloons instead of the 12,000 doubloons.

     

    Specifics of Trade-In

    • Within a single trade-in, you may choose only one of your existing ships to receive one new one.
    • The cost of the ship being exchanged and the ship being received may differ from other sections of the Armory.
    • If you exchange a rare ship that is difficult or currently impossible to obtain, the discount will increase. You will see the exact amount of the discount when you select the ship you want in the "Ship to Trade" section.
    • If the discount is greater than the cost of the new ship, you can purchase it at no additional cost. The difference in cost will not be compensated.
    • The exchanged ship will be withdrawn from your account.
    • All upgrades and modules from the exchanged ship will be moved to the "Inventory" tab. The commander will be sent to the Reserve. 
    • The ship you receive will be invoiced without a commander and Port Slot.
    • Ships that you have exchanged under the trade-in program cannot be restored.

    HD textures and collision model updates

     

    We continue to update maps and ports to HD quality. In version 12.7, highly detailed textures will be added to the New York port, as well as the maps New Dawn, Polar, and Islands.

     

    On these three maps, the collision model of the islands will also be updated - it will exactly match their contours in the game. This will eliminate situations in which a ship passing close to land could get stuck even without visual contact with an island. We will continue to update the island collision models on the rest of the maps in the future.

    Fauna

     

    On maps with highly detailed textures, the number of underwater and aerial inhabitants will increase. In battle you will be able to spot more birds and fish, and sharks will be added, which can even be seen from above the water's surface.     Water changes

     

    The effects of a ship's interaction with water will be updated:

    • Splashing waves on the bow will become more realistic
    • The display of water spray will be improved
    • When water hits a ship, foam will run across the deck
    • Added an animation for drops falling from a wet ship.
