Its been over 3 months since the 'exculsivity period' for the Graf Zeppelin started, when will it be opening up again for general purchase?`
Klopirat replied to Andy8583's question in Q&A Section
sure because it won't be a slow 'progression' that is implemented step by step, but it should be a "drastic change" of CV gameplay. Until now nothing specific is known, all top secret...- 8 replies

[GO NAVY!] Resource Tactics (team-switching)
Klopirat replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
on the PTS they were awarded at the end of the day edit: to late edit2: the announcement says: so for me it is an permanent process... -

[GO NAVY!] Resource Tactics (team-switching)
Klopirat replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
the main issue: how many offers will one get? my "essay" assumes a offer every day, no idea if it is realtistic... this is a (good) way to go imho, especially as you don't know if you will get offers for team change. And I think I will stick with this option, although it might give me less containers than the other options... -
[GO NAVY!] Resource Tactics (team-switching)
Klopirat replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
Ok, I thought a little bit more about it: - Ignore the container for the winning team since you cannot predict who will win (maybe it will be rigged like last year), especially when you get the offer early on the day. - Ignore the containers for being top 10/100/1000, those are reserved for the only-play-in-cancer-divisions-unicum-players, a normal average player won't come even close to this ranking positions - Assume you get an offer to change team every day (which we don't know). - Assume you want a Team Loyality Achievement so you need to reach 75 Loyality for one team - Assume you are mainly interested in containers and not patches, flags, camos,...so 1 additional container has the same value as 5 tokens - Assume team A is your favorite, but you don't care if a container is A or B - Assume the event has 26 event days 1. Accept all offers to change team: On 25 days you will start in team B (or the team you think will lose) and end in team A, on 1 day you start in team A and end in team B. You will get 26 containers for team changes and 195 tokens for team A and 5 tokens for team B. 2. Decline all offers to change team: On 15 days you will begin/end in team A, on 11 days in team B. You will get 195 tokens for team A and 95 tokens for team B. 3. Decline all offers to change team until you reach max. loyality for team A, afterwards accept all offers: Start all days in team A, on 15 days you end in team A, on 11 days in team B. You will get 195 tokens for team A, 45 for team B (with 33 Loyality) and 11 containers 4. Decline all offers to change team until you reach max. loyality for team A, afterwards accept 2 offers A to B and stay 9 times in B: Start 17 days in A, end 15 days in A and 2 days in B, start 9 days in B and end in B You will get 195 tokens for team A, 95 for team B (51 Loyality) and 2 containers In the end: You'll always have 195 + 5 tokens and 1. 26 containers 2. 90 tokens = 18 container 3. 40 tokens, 11 containers = 8 + 11 = 19 container 4. 90 tokens, 2 containers = 18 + 2 = 20 container So method 2 is the worst, as long as you don't want the token for something else than containers. The main "problem" I see is if you get an offer or not. If you get offers during the first days but no more afterwards, it might be that you cannot reach maximum loyality for any team anymore... -
next WG objective: Zero players in Operations
Klopirat replied to OOAndreasOO's topic in General Discussion
unfortunately not... and yes maybe it is rather easy compared to the other operations, but a reason maybe the limitation on cruisers. With this limitation your team members cannot sabotage a game intentionally by taking the wrong ships like for example DDs in Ägide... unfortunately at the moment WG seems to try to alter all scenarios so that they are barely winable without division...everybody has to play a certain scenario dozens of time until to lear what might happen and to "react" on things that haven't happened yet. If you can win only because you know certain bots will spawn somewhere and you sent someone there already before those bots spawn, then this is a total design failure... -
if you don't own a permanent premium camo for a certain Tier X yet and like the style of the Space Skin, I think the extra charge is at the limit but just ok

[GO NAVY!] Resource Tactics (team-switching)
Klopirat replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
if you get an offer to change team to the winning team you will get 2 containers, one for the change and one for being in the winning team, but only +3 loyality. if you don't change and are in the losing team you will get no container but +5 loyality. and of course you can stay in the winning team or change to the losing team, both will give you one container...it is on you to decide what is more important, tokens (which you can trade for different things) or containers... or patches or camos or flags... you get +3 loyality per day (or +5 when you decline an offer), not tokens. For the tokens: -

[GO NAVY!] Resource Tactics (team-switching)
Klopirat replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
at least I will do it because I want to maximize tokens. But of course if you want to maximize containers a different approach might be better. That will be the main decision you will have to make, as explained in the first post the tokens you get for reaching loyality thresholds -

[GO NAVY!] Resource Tactics (team-switching)
Klopirat replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
the selection screen has an "esc" option in the corner, so I thought you can "bypass" to select a team if you aren't interested...but I didn't try on the PTS... it depends on how many offers to change team you get. Without any offer you can get 195 tokens for one team and 5 for the other: There should be 26 event days (if I get it right) and you'll get 3 loyalilty points per day you play and earn points (without declining offers) = 78 loyality points. With 75 loyality points you get already the maximum tokens for one team (5 + 15 + 25 + 50 + 100 = 195), so for one day you chose the team because with the remaining 3 loyality points you'll get already 5 tokens for the other team. -
[GO NAVY!] Resource Tactics (team-switching)
Klopirat replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
won't make sense imho. Not only because if the matchmaker, but what about the 'neutral' players? And of course if all games are only sharks vs eagles there would be no need to re-weight the points of the team with less members... -
[GO NAVY!] Resource Tactics (team-switching)
Klopirat replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
why? there will be sharks and eagles in both teams, it is not only sharks on the one team and only eagles on the other team... but are those invites really sent by players? I thought the invites are sent by the game itself... -
