Here's an idea: Don't shoot teammates. There. Problem solved.
  2. The gains from having modding outweighs the negatives. Manage it well, keeping unwanted mods at bay, and you're way better off than just preventing modding entirely.

    Arpeggio for blue steel

I'm not sure I understand you. How does anything become popular outside of its country of origin? How did Hollywood become a worldwide movie export center? Japanese culture and more recently anime/manga gained popularity in the EU quite some time ago. I believe France was one of the first "western" countries to embrace Japanese popular culture.

    Arpeggio for blue steel

I have never watched it but I like the port (well lit and clean) and I have no problem seeing the ships in-game. Might even try to unlock them if the missions aren't too crazy.

    Tirpitz

Yup. The Tirpitz is easily the best credit grinder currently in the game, if you don't factor in what you have to pay for her. The Murmansk will still win the "biggest bang for your buck"-award, especially if you don't run a premium account. I like both of them because of their survivability, enabling you to stay in battle and continue doing damage. The Tirpitz survives through health, armor and repairs while the Murmansk survives by being the most agile cruiser of her tier and weight class. Both also being the fastest in their respective class helps.
  6. No one is saying that the slow torpedoes are good. The regular ones are though, with over 7k average damage. I'm not saying the Sims is an amazing DD, what I'm saying is that it doesn't need buffing. As long as it's on par or just slightly worse than its same tier equivalents it's fine.

    what is wrong with balancer?

You were lucky before the update.
  8. The Murmansk - Not overpowered at all.
  9. PoetRaptor, on 28 December 2015 - 06:30 PM, said: [edited] I've several times cited WarshipStats/ShipAnalytics, which is publicly available, objective, comparative WoWS ship performance statistics, and the main measures we've relied on throughout are Avg. Damage, Ship Kill Rate and Plane Kill Rate, not Win Rate. If you'd even bothered to check out those stats for yourself, you wouldn't be making the complete fool of yourself that you are. Statistics are merely that, statistics. They have no use unless you apply them correctly and understand them. In this case you'd need a baseline or something to compare to for the statistic to become relevant. As we don't have another tier 7 premium DD which has been in the game since day one it's pointless to use these statistics to prove anything other than that the Sims is a ship which is not easy to pick up with no prior experience with similar ships. So again, please point at something about the Sims that makes it bad. Statistics isn't a feature of the Sims it's a feature of the players using it. Stugga, on 28 December 2015 - 06:35 PM, said: oh, you mean, use the other torps with which I can't stealth torp (5,5km range) and are only usable 1) in DD knife fights and 2) if you wanna suicide, while the other US DD of the same tier, Mahan, has 11600 dmg, 55 knots, 9,2km range torps???? If you can't use torpedoes which you can't launch outside of detection range, then I'd recommend trying IJN DDs instead. The Mahan torpedoes has the same damage, 10 knot slower speed and longer reload time. If that's better for you, please go right ahead.

    Fubuki (C) hull?

It wasn't but it also got radar equipment and a large amount of extra depth charges as well. Weight got moved down.
  11. You have zero knowledge of interpreting and applying statistics to the real world. The fact that you use the all-time win rate of a tier 7 premium ship with a learning curve, which has been in the game since day one, to show that it's underpowered is all you need to know to invalidate your entire argument. You haven't provided a single ACTUAL reason why the Sims is underpowered. Until you do you have proven absolutely nothing. Next you're going to tell me the Atlanta is bad as well, right?

    Fubuki (C) hull?

From Wikipedia: I don't see a reason to use the C-hull to be honest. The extra health would be nice, but it's definitely not worth removing a turret. The Kagero does it even better and has only extra AA on the last hull upgrade, so you don't miss out on anything useful by skipping it.
  13. Why would anyone ever use the slow weak torpedoes? If you do you don't get to complain because you're intentionally gimping yourself.
  14. Everything about its durability is bad. If you manage to survive on low health, have fun with only a single AA gun left working. I guess the main guns tend to hold up well enough but everything else...
  15. Balance is bad in places but is starting to normalize. Economy is par for the course in these kinds of games. It's not for everyone. RNG is a factor, sure. But it's skill which weights the RNG in your favor.
  16. I didn't post it as "proof". I posted it to show that I'm not just some guy saying L2P. Played it some in the CBT as well although not that much. Literally the very next battle: Not as epic, but still decent.
  17. It's a fine ship. But you really need to learn the playstyle first. Why it does so bad statistically is because randos play it without having used any US mid tier DDs.
  18. Yay for hand cramps! No thanks. Steel Ocean has your style of controls since it's a bit more WoT-esqe. Try that.

Broadcast spotted ship information on/off button.

The only game so far where there were actual kills being stolen was War Thunder. Where you could, at one point, blow the wing off a plane without it counting as a kill and then someone could dive down after the crashing plane and shoot it on the way down and get the kill. In WoWS a ship is more or less the same threat whether it's at full health or at 1% health. Killing a ship is removing it from the battle and should be rewarded as such. You still get basically all your rewards from the damage done anyway.

    Keyboard Drop out

Sound like an issue with the drivers and/or software for the keyboard. Check if there are updated version of those for your specific keyboard. Otherwise if might even be a hardware issue, in which case you'll unfortunately have to replace it.
  21. While focusing can be good for learning a specific playstyle, I find that branching out gives you a better level of insight into how other types of ships operate and what their weaknesses are. If you focus on one progression path you'll eventually end up with ships that break off from what you've experienced so far requiring you to re-learn a lot of what you've grown accustomed to. If you instead have a wider base of knowledge to stand on when you eventually have to play something new and unfamiliar, you don't have to start from zero.
  22. Hiding your stats implies that you actually do care. Don't hide them and just don't care is my recommendation.
  23. I was referring to firing at DDs, which doesn't have armor.

    Game modes Domination...

Why Domination at all? The two cap points are only slightly better and DDs still get barely any rewards playing those battles.
