1. Yes 2. We still don't have the repeatable Arpeggio challenges that the US has/had. 3?. Błyskawica

Posting the loosing teams names might be classed as naming and shaming. I don't think posting the winners names could be interpreted that way.

Letting WG know how you feel only costs you the time it takes to type it. Even if you don't think it will matter, there is basically no reason not to.

Just because you're a realist doesn't mean you have to take everything lying down.

WG EU is a parody of itself. You can't do anything but laugh at this point.
-
Well at least you had a chance.

Funny thing is that even BB HE shells will over penetrate most DDs. While you do have the chance of doing more damage and some extra module damage with near misses using BB HE shells, most of the time it won't matter. Not enough to make switching shells worth it unless you are absolutely sure you'll still have a shot at the DD by the time you're reloaded again. DDs and CA/CLs on the other hand would first off most likely be running around with HE as their primary choice anyway. But they also fire faster and are more likely to get crits because of that.

I haven't. It's really good actually.

I don't know what to tell you except that you're wrong. They implemented speed dependent turning circles some time during the end of the CBT if I recall correctly.

Yorck is not underrated. It's simply bad.

Wait what? This is not how it is in-game at all. How long has it been since you played the game?

Formula to calculate the award in Silver after a battle?
Nechrom replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
From what I've noticed there are some "rules": Rewards are given for % damage to ships. Meaning that detonating a DD from full health gives you as much rewards as having a long 1 v 1 shootout with a full health BB, eventually sinking him. Capturing points gives a lot of rewards, exactly how much I'm not sure. Defending points (damaging capping enemies) gives rewards, but not as much. Spotting gives no rewards as far as I know. Shooting down planes gives some rewards, but not enough to make "defending the CV" a viable alternative to just shooting enemy ships. In summary: Damaging enemy DDs, citadeling enemy cruisers and capping is the most effective ways to get rewards. Scouting and providing AA support gives no or almost no rewards. -
To annoy people like you.

It's not misleading because those are literally two different topics. The topic is about ships that get an undeserved bad rap. I honestly can't say I've heard a lot of bad things about the Warspite since the "OMG the range is so bad!" died down shortly after it got released. If the topic was: "What ship is hardest to get good results in?", then that would include ships which are objectively bad. The current topic is more about ships that seem bad at first glance or might require a different play style to what most people are used to.

Make sure you're using the Yokosuka port.

Is the Ibuki up to much compared to the mogami?
Nechrom replied to _x_Acheron_x_'s topic in Cruisers
A big improvement over the Mogami which gets overlooked is the placement of the catapults and the rear mast which gives the rear gun turrets much better angles, +5 and 10° respectively. -
Lol, Clevelands blaming lower tier ships for not literally feeding themselves to them. No sympathy for those kinds of players. If I got outplayed by a lower tier ship I'd keep my mouth shut if it wasn't to say 'good fight'.

They also shaved off 5 sec on the reload.

The Murmansk can easily out range the New York, the Königsberg even more so. The difference when BBs out range each other is that they can quite easily avoid most damage through angling, and at those ranges most shots will miss anyway. This isn't the case with cruiser fire which is pin-point accurate if aimed well and cause the same damage regardless of what the target BB does.
-
I'd never call someone out for using game mechanics as intended. I'm much more likely to get frustrated at WG for allowing situations where fast cruisers can out-range big slow battleships. At the same time I'll definitely call someone in my team out for gimping themselves by staying at a range where they can barely hit anything. When staying at max range is the best option, go right ahead, but doing that exclusively is definitely not the best course of action.

Sims? Atlanta?

New premium DD to be revealed at the end of the month?
Nechrom replied to Earl_of_Northesk's topic in General Discussion
If that's true then I'll rage. Akizuki should release for Japan first and then they can do whatever they want for scavenged ships. -
Arpeggio of Blue Steel Mission 2 Unfair for Japanese CVs
Nechrom replied to Hsaki's topic in General Discussion
That part of the mission (just like the last part) got done by itself while playing ships to get the 1st part of the Myoko mission done (killing DDs). Just rolling around in mid tier CAs shooting DDs and starting fires will have the plane kills done eventually without trying. -
Can we get the statistics of torpedo hits before/after the patch?
Nechrom replied to ghostbuster_'s topic in General Discussion
That would assume you don't have the detection upgrade... for some reason. Because if you do then there is no buff. -
There are a number of reasons why games have seemingly arbitrary frame rate caps. One of those is that some engines get unstable at higher frame rates when animations and other graphical effects are tied to the frames being rendered. While I would love to be able to get a high adaptive refresh rate going like in some other games, I'm pretty happy with 75 fps. The game isn't really optimized well enough to allow for higher frame rates other than for very short periods anyway. If you want to see a solid engine with great visuals and awesome optimization you should try War Thunder, even if only as a benchmark or eye candy. Using adaptive refresh rate synchronization there gives you a silky smooth experience even at the highest settings.
