How much Coal & Steel did you get in your Arsenal with new patch v0.7.6 ?
AgarwaenME replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Do you ever stop crying? (3 years of experience says no). Did you ever cry this much about clans other benefits? But again, those who could be bothered finding any sort of clan got a minor stash to start out, but have NO easier path to grinding more. You have no idea what programming is, do you... And again, prior to this change, unclanned players got.. nothing for not doing something and were entirely restricted from access to CW reward ships. Past this they're now able to deflate the privilege CW players had by also having a path to the Stalingrad, and other ships that would have been rewarded for it. They also get access to several new premiums for no real extra effort. Clanned players got.. a small bonus of coal.. One group got a huge boost, the other a tiny one, yet one group is up in arms over it.. -

#16, what a chore, ended up taking SIX battles, which was 1 more than the last one and 3 more than the 150 main battery hits one. At this rate I'll almost have to put in more effort than just playing my current 3 "project" ship (ships in need of regular xp). WG please reduce this endless impossible grind.. or something. -
No, we just think you're blinded by bias and incompetence.
-
Or they would just skip on the free respecc and this rebate altogether and get even more... The way you're twisting things you could twist anything to be nefarious. /omg this stuff is so much cheaper now in january than it was in december?? omg!!!

Because the event IS GOING ON DURING THESE WEEKS. Wow are you dense. And when you use "no time" as an excuse to whine, then your comparative average battles per day during it is very much on topic. But feel free to block people just to be able to stay in your echo chamber. -
Erm.. do you understand what a computer is?

Remove the repair ships from Operation Newport
AgarwaenME replied to Tekacko's topic in General Discussion
I do like the "you've gotten this far now your entire team who was around the actual objective gets 1-2 minutes to repair" type. Preferably I'd see the other ones changed to repair a bit faster, but only work for a set amount of hp or time per ship in an op. In Newport they just repair too slow and are too far back for those who plays the op aggressively trying to get max stars but rewards those who just sit max range. And with the way bots focus targets that guarantees those trying the least also get focused by enemy ships least too. -

Except you can go check battles over the last 3 weeks, when this event has been going on, where you have more battles played than me. So ye, you're playing at least as many battles as me, I just have more in prior years. How's that for actual real math for ya? -

AgarwaenME replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
Half? At most 3-4 could be considered difficult, and only a small handful requires you to play more than one type of ship. As for "nolife" required, you're playing at least as many, if not more, battles than I do, and while you (unsurprisingly) has little experience beyond mostly spamming BBaby battles, you do have access to all ship types needed for those with more specific requirements. So the only difference is your lack of ability if you can't do these tasks. as for "bad" reward. It's a tier 7 premium. As far as things you can buy in this game it's merely one step down from t8 premiums. -
But even then a game can be decided by one single gunfight or player decision, no matter if it happens at 5 minutes or 15 into the game. Is it a landslide because your top tier BB sailed into torps at 4mins leaving a flank without heavy guns, or if he did so 4 minutes before the end? An early lead in a game designed like this will have a huge chance of causing a snowball effect, so games with an extremely close score are rather unlikely. Even then I've had some extremely close games over the last week (games being decided 5-10 secs before the timer goes out) and even more games with one team in what looks like a slight, or even comfortable lead, who's then turned around.

Do try to understand the difference between actual facts and opinions. The only "fact" here is the "fact" that people have opinions. Actual facts have to be based on concrete evidence.. indeed that's what facts are. The whole point of my post was that people bring up the SAME issues as "shockingly new" every patch (and not just related to the MM), which is telling about their objectiveness about actual changes, especially when it's something as vague and victim of the current meta and mission, campaigns and new tech lines, as the MM is.

Thing is.. when people go "omg this patch is causing landslide victories!!!" after every patch, with no actual numbers or evidence to back it up then such opinions become entirely worthless

People generate signals from battles, shorter battles does very little to the net influx of signals. To do that they have, and would use, other measures. Ie reducing signals from daily containers, missions, ranked rewards (already nerfed a long time ago) etc. Sneaking in skill based MM to try to force landslides would be.. incredibly pointless and wasteful.

While ridiculous is what I expect from that (not you) poster, it's exceedingly ridiculous to go "but I personally don't care for this reward so make it easier so I have to work less for something I don't want". -

Also there's the "what's a challenge and what's just a grind". As such I'd say that most of these requirements are just simple grind, as they're within reasonable reach of even your average 50% joe at their hardest, and you don't have to do all of them. Assuming ofc you're able to play for the length of the event, which is the single real objection I have, as I prefer campaign style for things like this, even if the overall "work" needed is higher. -

You're confusing opportunity with ability. The requirements you want would basicly be "play one battle, if you feel like it, if not here's a button to click to get free ship". -

"oh no, it takes a little effort to get something, THE SKY IS FALLING!!". Thus far the "effort" I've had to put into it has been playing like 3 extra battles in select ships, all of which I could have skipped as I ended up doing the requirements in my current lineup of ships to play for daily bonus in. /btw, since you're nowhere close to the damage you list for DoY, then I assume you mean you don't know how to play it. -
And you keep proving peoples point.

You literally broke the rules for the forum by naming and shaming several people. You tell what can only be described as a ridiculous lie when you compare this to games like WoT and calls this worse. You're generalizing thousands of thousands of people as "toxic". And no, you're not "merely asking for people to behave better", you're just trashtalking the playerbase as there's nothing in your post promoting people behaving better. And guess what, all of us are part of that group of players your thread starter describes as "toxic", so you don't get to pretend you didn't call anyone here anything. And yes, mods should be checking this thread to give you proper sanctions.

You being hypocritical? Crying about people talking about you, in a thread where you go personally after other players? Tell me that's not so! Wait..could it be you're just a dishonest troll? hmmmm -

"He was good until he disaggreed with me". Butthurt kid personified. This just exemplifies how utterly trash your "opinion" is, on anything.
